As long as their technique for NIL doesn't infringe on anyone else's patent they could still proceed with just patent pending. Obviously a granted patent would protect competition from using.

BTW, surely an "Amateur historian" wouldn't get paid at all!!

Off topic , then back on

A few weeks ago I gave a 'talk' to a local history group, it was my 1st 'outing' as an amateur historian speaker,my fee was minimal but included a meal, a pint and some good conversation. My topic 'super-heroes of medicine from antiquity to 1600' was well received and I now have 2 further bookings :-)

For fun I calculated how many hrs I would have to talk to generate the same income as a 1p rise in IQE , baring in mind I was 'cheap as chips' , turns out it would be about 18 days ;-)

Anyhow, talking of my own estimate of ' cheap as chips' re the IQE SP, I reiterate 165p, anything below that is a steal -imho and dyor

Don't know whether anyone else uses SWOT analysis? I have found it useful in all facets of my life, personal, investment, professional and organisational. In the next few days I will do my own SWOT ( strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) on IQE, being as honest as I can, shall,post it when done, for anyone remotely interested

Poombear-I am chasing up the NIL information, I am sure you will agree with me that baring in mind the technology is 'patents pending' the key facts we need to know, is when the patents were applied for , and when and IF they have been granted, if not granted - why the delay ( that's an opportunity AND a threat in the SWOT ;-))

And no it doesn't need repeating, it's good but inevitable news, there is NO stopping momentum in the digital world, that's the reason this stock is a real keeper :-)

Sweenoid, do you have any info on the status of NIL, is it ready to go? Presumably it would need customer qualification etc. Also noting the project to commercialise with CST Global which doesn't appear to have completed?
