20/6/2017 12:41 | Wonder if that's the top of the current run. I'll buy some more at 75p. | sheep_herder
20/6/2017 12:09 | That last sentence is correct ! | panic investor
20/6/2017 12:06 | Zac Mir, proactive investors, is now expecting a price of over 100p, and perhaps as high as 110p, in a couple of months. He's not always right, of course, and perhaps no better forecaster than many of us, but .....! | aimingupward2
20/6/2017 11:27 | tonsil, come back in 10 years and ask then. We'll have a better idea of how the Power Switching market is taking off and what other new applications are on the horizon. | sheep_herder
20/6/2017 11:24 | It is my tongue in cheek way of asking when and at what value will it be opportune to start taking profits. As Big S is the main subject matter expert here his considered thoughts and projections would be appreciated. | tonsil
20/6/2017 11:07 | So that's what tonsilitis is! | toffeeman
20/6/2017 11:01 | Very good, tonsil. Like it! | aimingupward2
20/6/2017 10:46 | 2019 ? Blimey who are you Doctor Who ? | panic investor
20/6/2017 10:41 | Just found a Sweenoid post from the ADVFN 2019 archive. "Cheap as chips under £10 this is only just getting started across 5 major technology fronts I'm 99% invested here." | tonsil
20/6/2017 09:33 | The documents are in the public domain. They are from the Newport gov website. This is a 2nd document relating to transportation etc. Note it's from February so been evaluating for a bit. | poombear
20/6/2017 09:32 | The message was clear from newly-elected President Emmanuel Macron: France will become Europe's leader in technology and transform into a "country of unicorns" – the term for companies valued at more than $1 billion. If Sterling depreciates further, maybe it would be quicker for him to buy our frites. | arcadian
20/6/2017 09:08 | someuwin, re-read your post and tell me what else management could say that you don't already know? ;-) | sheep_herder
20/6/2017 08:49 | Now that the Atkins document is in the public domain (at least on finacial BBs) I think IQE may well have to put out an RNS sooner rather than later. The fact that they are looking to expand production into the old LG factory and their stated policy of not expanding without clear visibility of increased customer demand, must surely mean that they will need to inform the market of these price sensitive developments? | someuwin
20/6/2017 08:42 | mad foetus, they're expanding because business is dire. What sort of a question/statement is that? | sheep_herder
20/6/2017 08:27 | Was hoping for a pull back so I could top up but it's just not happening at the moment. | tini5
20/6/2017 08:23 | Was v tempted to sell when I saw 89.5p this morning. But discipline needed. Any pull back will see a flurry of investors wanting to buy in. | volsung
20/6/2017 08:21 | Some profit being taken but I'm not selling until I find out why they are expanding their production facilities | mad foetus
20/6/2017 08:09 | How reaslitic would a Nasdaq listing be Dave? Obviously ARM managed this, but what would it take for that to happen to IQE? Market cap or other requirements? This would have a major effect on the SP, no doubt. | richardc77
20/6/2017 08:06 | This price action is nuts. :-) | sheep_herder
20/6/2017 08:00 | So why all the remainer doom and gloom fuss about tariffs? | dafrog
20/6/2017 07:56 | With all the political and Brexit madness going on , it's great to invest in a company that is almost totally 'insulated' from home problems. Our customers are global concerns, we earn the vast majority of our revenues in $ :-), and as confirmed at the AGM the investments in research from Europe are arranged in such a way that Brexit has no effect. IQE has a natural currency hedge, but it is a massive bonus to be a $ earner. The 1st half 'figures' will benefit from a circa 15% depreciation of sterling, and of course international investors can buy IQE on the cheap. I firmly believe given an acknowledged US interest that is increasing that a Nasdaq listing could be on the cards in the future. Now that would stir things up. S | sweenoid
19/6/2017 21:32 | Totally agree Arcadian I learnt stacks from his posts on IMG. I think he is purely pointing out the possible absolute minimum I may be wrong. We all have our potential upsides but I for one have learned a lot from IMG and the importance of investing in a Company with good management and that appreciates its Shareholders and learning to not be too greedy along the way and take some profits. | jonesmi
19/6/2017 21:20 | Agreed, as a rule of thumb but given the depth of SW`s knowledge and familiarity with the company`s prospects I wondered if there was something more fundamental and unique underpinning his figure. Maybe not and he certainly does not need to be made accountable for every utterance.I and many others are no doubt grateful for his open and sharing contributions which I am sure add to our understanding of the share`s potential. / | arcadian
19/6/2017 20:30 | Arcadian 40 per cent usual approximate takeover premium on top of 87p gets you to around 125p if it were to happen today I assume. | jonesmi |
