The irony... calling Sweenoid a ramper when your clearly deramping because your annoyed you turned up to the party late. I speak on behalf of a lot of people here, sweenoid provides a lot of quality input, not just one random false post about their being a large short which their clearly isn't. I think someone needs to look up the regulations behind declaring short selling.....

The only notifiable short is held by Enismore and they appear to be reducing.

Toptrump1 I thought you were shorting this at 55p and waiting for it to drop to sub 35p.

OK, so a pretty small market. Their USP is just that you can run a longer cable. I wouldn't be surprised if there are less than 10K annual sales for those sort of cables whereas the market for VCSELs in the data centre is likely to exceed that by a factor of what, 1000-10000?

Does anyone use those optical ones? They don't see to support the latest standard either which used USB-C connectors.

I wouldn't like to be out of IQE for long.

I suspect an RNS is very close.

Tommy, I don't see the link between Thunderbolt interfaces and CS? The host controller is built on silicon. Although there is an optical transport version, my understanding is that nearly all computer implementations use a standard copper electrical interface.

It seems as though compound semiconductor technologies are starting to favour other companies fortunes also! I have been looking at a company called Focusrite(TUNE), who make Digital Audio Interfaces for home musicians.......this is something that I am interested in as I play electric and acoustic guitar and these devices enable you to connect your instrument to your computer to record and manipulate your music! This company started out with its CEO who was the sound engineer for Led Zeppelin in the 70's. Anyway, these audio interfaces are now coming with 'Thunderbolt' connections (which are made from compound semiconductors), which reduce 'latency' to virtually zero! Latency in music production is a major problem and it looks as though the music industry is adopting Thunderbolt as it's main connector! Soon every recording studio and home studio will be using Thunderbolt as standard! That's a huge upgrade cycle! Because of this Focusrites fortunes could look rosy also! They are hugely respected in the music industry!

No rush, be great to keep in the 80-90 range for a few weeks until H1 update. We don't need an Icarus ;)

RSI just under 80, it could do with a breather to be honest, hopefully sideways for a few days.

Hopefully it will hold steady for at least another 24 hours, just liquidated a tech fund and haven't had the cash through yet. Got a few quid tagged to top here.

Zac Mir, proactive investors, is now expecting a price of over 100p, and perhaps as high as 110p, in a couple of months. He's not always right, of course, and perhaps no better forecaster than many of us, but .....!
