23/4/2014 08:58 | From what I hear, we are going to get the water permit. We have Lance back in the business sorting out the mess, I'll hold what I have, but if a bid comes in at 125p as mr Big suggested, I'd readily agree. | ![]() che7win
23/4/2014 08:57 | Seriously, don't top up until you see it turn around then wait a bit. Missing the bottom and buying on the up is a lot less painful than buying and seeing it continue down. No reason this can't go to 1p if the market wants 1p. I feel for those that are in deep here, but for heavens sake don't throw good after bad. Do NOT add to a losing position. | nevik2
23/4/2014 08:56 | JoeStalin, This is not a massive overreaction at all. It is a juddering profit-warning that will lead to further dilution, and no doubt another renegotiation of the debt. | n3tleylucas
23/4/2014 08:56 | Under 400p?? Did you miss this profit warning this morning? They are cutting costs with the hope of making it to year end. 40p is a more likely target for now. I am absolutely raging at the incompetence and mismanagement here! | nicdavit
23/4/2014 08:53 | MV £33m, profit of £3.3m in FY 2015? Maybe, but how many shares will be in issue? | n3tleylucas

23/4/2014 08:53 | I was going to buy some yesterday, and did not get around to it - so I bought double the number this morning instead - it is going to be a good day. This is a massive overeaction. | ![]() joestalin
23/4/2014 08:50 | What goes up eventually comes down...is this another slippery Oily/Gas company?... | ![]() diku
23/4/2014 08:48 | The BoD didn't keep us up to date and just remained silent, and as CF held so many shares wasn't the company obliged to tell us he had sold so many when he did a while ago? Can anything be done about that? All in all though, this company with its unique patented machinery can still make good. What we don't want it someone coming and buying us up at some cheap offer under 400p OR MORE when you think of ITS POTENTIAL THAT IS STILL THERE. | ![]() dontshoutatonce
23/4/2014 08:47 | Cash is obviously key here with just $2.3 million left at the end of March. Without the recent loan refinancing in place there would have been serious question marks. As it stands, it would be useful to know: 1. How much of the remaining $2.3m is earmarked for the completion of IO#6 (and were there any remaining payments due on IO#4 and IO#5)? 2. If the company hits the 400mt projection and if the Chemical division retains its existing profitability (the one positive in today's announcement) then will the company be cash flow positive at these levels of activity? It is reassuring that the company is controlling costs, but in addition to covering operating costs there is the small matter of £900k pa interest payments on the loan. If we can manage the cashflow then the value of the IP will ultimately see a return for long term investors at these prices and on that basis I have made a small top up this morning. | ![]() swiftnick
23/4/2014 08:47 | From what I understand, we're going to get only 3 months worth of iodine from IO3 & IO4 for the rest of the year (IO1&2 will continue producing as normal), then after that production should increase. Terrible news today but we're not dead in the water, the share price was a lot higher than this when we had virtually no production at all. | ![]() monts12
23/4/2014 08:46 | mister big - 6 Apr'14 - 18445: I'll take 1.20 invested at 51p! Over three years that's good enough mister big - 19 Apr'14 - 19248: I value iofina £1.25 without water or in fact oil possibilities. The company is producing iodine from 5 plants and iof 6 scheduled to go online before end of 2nd quarter. mister big - 19339: the main issue here is people that over paid for stock. I believe fair value is around £1.25p. Hmmm.........looks like Arron also overpaid for the stock too having bought 4m @51p (circa £2m) a few weeks ago. That investment is down around £900K already ! If he averaged down and bought another 4m @27p he would have 8m @38p and almost still be down by 30%. | ![]() masurenguy
23/4/2014 08:46 | Not a good couple of days for me. I am heavily into QPP. Luckily been in a long time so still in good profit, but a lot of paper profit went out of the window yesterday. | ![]() owenga
23/4/2014 08:41 | Happy to wait for the long term.. No choice now. Question is whether it will run out of cash? Looks like they will be able to manage it. What bank/ loan facilities does it have? | ![]() owenga
23/4/2014 08:39 | So the fracking, when it ends, will or should result in uninterrupted brine water? Is that what the company are saying? | ![]() ammons
23/4/2014 08:35 | I was told that fracking in the area is a short term disruptive operation, once that is out if the way there will be no more disruption, also told the city don't understand that. Location of the newer plants in the same area was a risk that someone in the company took, we need to question why. | ![]() che7win
