22/4/2014 09:29 | Some nice big buys this morning | jasp2
22/4/2014 09:25 | jointer, couldn't agree more. I suspect that those waiting in the wings are rubbing their hands yet again. Fundamentals are that IOF are in a much better position today than a few months ago. Production rising to levels which will bring increasing amounts of cash into the business over the next weeks and months. IO6 on stream soon and more to follow. The best thing that investors could do now is to ignore those people who create as much fear as they can so as to either materially profit from it or to derive some sort of twisted and sadistic pleasure. | ![]() phoenixs
22/4/2014 09:23 | Oh you did look. ND and Montana relevant areas seasonal drought issue (lower map) shown in white (no issue)???. But if it does become an issue in the future the oil players will be begging IOF to clean up and discharge Atlantis water into the river upstream of the bakken. That's why hal wanted to buy 50% of the rights to Atlantis. That's why the USFW did the rights swap. The one drought they did have in 2003 badly affected the wildlife reserves and they have no way of dealing with drought, until IOF gained a discharge permit. Any water you discharge into the system you own, it's called a storage right and you can take it out elsewhere. | ![]() superg1
22/4/2014 09:19 | Shonny ! When I lasted looked I had a stake in Manx financial acquired at 4p a share now at 13p ( and doing well as a company ) , a direct insurance group , a gold mining operation in Ghana , four diamond mines in Kimberley ( one in Lesotho ) , a country park complete with beatiful wedding venue , classic car collection, numerous land holdings ( including building land acquired at the bottom of the market , a modest art collection and horrendous insomnia brought on by too much port , cigar and a seafood salad las night . In respect of iofina they will kitchen sink results and the price will either fall or rise , if it drops below 50 I will buy more - iodine is a nice market that will do well next couple of years. ! 22/4/2014 09:10 | Buywell Look up the rules then the water scarcity in the US which states are affected etc etc. If you are talking California, Texas, Oklahoma and others yes they have issues, that's why OK use produced water, it's of a sufficient standard to frack with, probably due to the very high water cut OK has. ND is more concerned about flooding than droughts. They gets floods nearly every year and droughts once in a blue moon. But if you want to go that route then it explains the value of IOF produced water, if ever they go that way, as it has so little contaminants, it's easy to clean and hence they have a discharge permit. If ND and co clamp down on water use, the value of the USFW rights swap, the discharge permit, and the Atlantis water goes up. That's where IOF are currently unique. Unless of course you can point out who else has a rights swap deal, and a discharge permit. I'd be interested to know if such circs exist with any other company in the US. I suspect it is unique. | ![]() superg1

22/4/2014 09:02 | The USA have major problems with climate change and water useage ie in many states its getting critical This RNS today might not be the last of its type | ![]() buywell2
22/4/2014 09:01 | we are an iodine producer...5 plants up and running soon to be 6 unbelievable price at the mo. | ![]() jointer13
22/4/2014 08:57 | I never quite understood the water piece. Surely, groundwater is holding the iodine, the company extract the iodine and then there is purified water. So if they didn't get a beneficial right to sell this water, do they just squirt it onto the land? | laterunner
22/4/2014 08:55 | Mr big - I hope your judgement in buying four million shares proves to be better than your judgement in making a rash bet offer. I'd have thought a man of your means would be more careful with his money and not prone to throwing it away, as you would have done had I accepted your offer. Not the actions of a wise investor. Maybe you should take your profits here while you can. | shonny
22/4/2014 08:51 | "watch out for the little yellow men !" I'm looking forward to it...added more this morning. | ![]() jointer13
22/4/2014 08:49 | A clear rns so we know where we are and should be able to obtain a permit, maybe for a slightly lower amount, if not the full amount. We still have a broker target for £1.56, without any water included. The price was bound to fall today, but nothing has really changed. I will wait for the results before adding. | ![]() rogerbridge

22/4/2014 08:46 | Buywell yes I recall that the lower states have drought issues, Montana and ND don't. Rns, the water is legally available = there is enough to meet the requested amount on the permit without causing water issues. Beneficial use, proved by IOF as they have buyers. The Bureau case is clearly about the amount as demonstrated in a recent example from the hearings list, a permit was denied but then awarded at the hearing for a lesser amount. That's the way the system works. At the hearing IOF need to prove the demand, my guess is the hearing will end with an award for less. IOF have letters of intent for more than the permit, as mentioned (exceed) Operators Will Spend $15 Billion in Bakken Published: Monday, 21 April 2014 15:17 Written by Press Room Williston Basin operators will spend more than $15 billion this year as more than 14,000 new well locations wait to be drilled, according to a new report from consultant Wood Mackenzie Ltd | ![]() superg1
22/4/2014 08:40 | Ah shonny - suspect you are a glass half empty kind of guy ! You may be right , as John Maynard Keynes said the market can remain irrational longer than you can stay solvent ! ( thankfully not the case with me ) Take a bow - watch out for the little yellow men !' | mister big

22/4/2014 08:36 | Iofina is going through the stage of becoming an operational company with real revenues , the main issue here is people that over paid for stock. I believe fair value is around £1.25p. Lol on time I went to bed late and woke up - so it's 3.36 am in palm beach !! | mister big
22/4/2014 08:34 | Not looking good for Mr bigs £1 target by 10th June. The impending poor results will see the share price in the low fifties at best. | shonny
