Fall here is not so much due to water news, let's face it we fell three times so far on a water business that doesn't exist, isn't factored into broker notes and was always a side show.

The fall is because the market is awaiting results, the buying can begin in earnest after they are out.

I'm enjoying trading gsk whilst I wait, proceeds might well go in here.

Been following QPP, could have a rant about crooks (shorts) and all that but don't know enough about the business, but one has to consider based on the vague but damning attack on QPP that someone is going to fall foul of the law and suffer for it.

sad to say but madness has prevailed today. IMO investors or previous investors have been duped into selling by news which even if had been positive would not have affected earnings for months and maybe a year or more, Instead iodine earnings are increasing and people seem to have ignored it.

Management have a lot to answer for here, how can it be that whatever announcement they make it is negative. Even Lance's appointments had to end up with a negative side to it putting the price further down. This is not even the last of the bad news, let's hope the bad results are now in the price.

Foolishly bought back in on Lance's re-appointment and suffering another huge loss. Never fall in love with a share but I seem to learn the hard way. I can only think today's fall has been compounded with the expected bad results and more pi's have sold up.

I will buy more, but logic tells me to keep my powder dry until after the results. I fear the market reaction to the kitchen sink.Logic also tells me that this is a ridiculous price to sell at, but obviously someone is.Either that or we are seeing a false market today.

For a non core asset it has a core effect on the share price when things don't work out.
The good news of the completion of the iodine plants had very little impact!

This will be in the sixties after the results. It hasn't exactly taken off on todays news. Mr Bigs two month target of £1 beginning to look a bit sick now.

I think I'll have to substitute forties for sixties in the above. A bit too optimistic with that post. I'm losing my touch.

Well we forecast Sirocco would close down their Agitation leach plant version and they did. That was against their claims of forecast increased production.

I still have the email from the VP of the company on that topic. He said the ALP would continue, production would increase and opex would come down. Opex went up and they turned the ALP off and postponed expansion.

I'm inclined to agree , and while a lot if nonsense is being talked on here some interesting stuff . I don't underestimate iofina ability to get production right it's trial and error . They threw the business together too quickly but I expect to see consolidation , cash positive and then move forward when ready .
Agree on iodine at 60 kg and pressure in chile which helps ,
So while mr market forces prices down its a good time to buy - buy while there is blood on the streets ! Or in this case iodine -
