01/10/2013 07:37 | Fest I agree with you- its funny how TA winds people up though it's akin to how an atheist views religion. Most people say well TA is harmless enough and it might provide some enlightenment. This winds anti TA people up even more who view it as potentially dangerously misleading and as reliable as reading the tea leaves. Two quotes I always think of "an investor uses TA like a drunk uses a lamppost - for support not illumination"And what any broker or spread betting house demands you understand before letting you trade "past performance is no indication of future success"There is a ta thread but I don't mind TA being posted here - same as I don't mind people saying events are "an act of god" to an aerheist such remarks are just amusing. ..... chill | warrensearle
01/10/2013 07:31 | Meadow Nice one You may have noticed I have started mentioning the water permit again about a week ago. Saying that near term it may move to application correct. From a post on 24th Sept-: 'Don't shoot the messenger, but on the permit side the jigsaw pieces to achieve application correct, could slot into place this week.' Now we see the first day of this week and it's done. All that was left was the confirmation of certain points re water purchasers. The rules of water permit applications are mainly having a beneficial need and a demand. IOF have that and as you can now see, the application is correct. In other words everything in the rules and regulations to satisfy the award of a permit is complete. That only means one thing, the next point will be the completion of the preliminary determination to grant the water right. That box could be complete in days or weeks. Once more I'll mention, the Dry Prairie application went from correct to determination to grant in just 4 days. It simply now depends on how busy the relevant person is, on how quickly the form is completed. But as Bob Shaver says, under water legislation if an application meets the criteria in an application, then BY LAW it has to be awarded. I think you will find for many individuals the application correct entry is significant. Think of it the other way around, would it have been relevant if the application was denied. | ![]() superg1
01/10/2013 07:29 | Fest, if you don't like it just filter the Chartists, lets not clutter up the board chartist bashing. | ![]() naphar
01/10/2013 06:46 | Fingers, your charts indicated a 'key date' at the end of Sept? Ummm.. amazing how that coincided with the issue if IOF results! My wife's period occured at midnight US time, I can only assume that is what caused the fedeeal govt shut down! | ![]() festario
01/10/2013 06:02 | Thanks Meadow, excellent. We are knocking on the door for water, time to top up me thinks. | ![]() noli
01/10/2013 03:13 | Hi - I am not a holder of IOF, and I have no fundamental knowledge of the company. My chart analysis is based entirely on the charts, and are completed as a result of requests. Here are copies of 2 x charts that I posted on my thread, which relate to IOF, the first was posted on the 28th July, identifying a 'key date', and the second shows what occurred .. | fingers xxd

30/9/2013 23:15 | I was being mischievous Fest, nothing works 100% of the time with total accuracy & yes it was the interims that moved the share price However I do find it interesting to read TA observations from the likes of Titus & fingers, they seem to call thing right more often than not, certainly better than my attempts to trade rather than hold. | ![]() urbanyeti
30/9/2013 23:14 | "captain_kurt 30 Sep'13 - 23:10 - 9353 of 9355 0 0 Leeds presentations tomorrow. Jeff will be jumping up and down with joy about the water permit progress" Someone from here probably needs to tell them first CK! | ![]() naphar
30/9/2013 23:13 | Great news..... | ![]() supreme mo
30/9/2013 23:12 | Fest, of course it was the interims. I think your point would have been better proven though, if the share price had gone down on interims day, or if Titus has said the charts showed a move down was imminent, and the results made the price go up. He said we were due a move up, we had a move up, Titus never said when! His analysis gave him a buy signal, if he had followed it he would be in the money, I guess that's good enough for Titus, and he is unlikely to care about the opinions of others on TA. I don't personally have the faith to blindly follow TA in general let alone on IOF, firstly because I don't know what I am doing in that regard, secondly because I don't know or trust Titus (no offence) or any other TA gurus enough to follow their predictions, but most importantly because good news can come at any time which I believe could drive a negative to positive sentiment shift. I do however like reading and hopefully learning a bit from Titus' posts. | ![]() naphar
30/9/2013 23:10 | Boggle - you are probably right, but the company can now use this step forward in their presentations. But, hey ho, it gives us something else to hold on to! | ![]() meadow2

30/9/2013 23:08 | Thats the big news re the water Meadow! - Well done on spotting it first EDIT Hopefuly very close now to the "Preliminary Determination to Grant Completion" | pcjoe
30/9/2013 23:07 | Meadow, i have a feeling the only people watching for the permit is us!!! Whether the wider market picks up on the significance in the short term i doubt. However specific II's, those looking to buy due to the presentations being given or needing to close short positions like Ennis, will have their eye on this update and will know that means the granting of the rights is all but certain (possible local objections aside) as by law a correct application must be granted. They will also be aware of how this will effect the share price in the near to medium term. It will, alongside the IO plant rollout, double revenue for a year or so, possibly more if the water sold is hot. | ![]() bogg1e
30/9/2013 23:06 | Great news on the water permit progress ! | ![]() captain_kurt
30/9/2013 22:57 | Water! That is a piece of progress I have been desperate to hear for some months now. Yeti, you are missing my point. Do you think TA moved the SP, or could it have possibly been the Interim Results RNS? | ![]() festario
30/9/2013 22:54 | Excellent spot Meadow, GREAT NEWS! So, water permit application now confirm as correct, prelim determination to grant next which should happen quickly, then 45 days public notice, then we are pretty much there. So IO2 confirmed on record production. IO1 producing more than was ever considered. IO3 due to be online any day. Water permit right on track. I wonder if now we are through most of the paperwork side of the application whether we may see 2nd and 3rd applications going into Montana. | ![]() diggulden
30/9/2013 22:52 | I've bought shares in the past that have stagnated for months if not years, a few weeks seems pretty damn good compared to that. | ![]() urbanyeti |
