Plants 1-5 should be operational by year end, plant 6 possibly but I'll discount that.

5 plants at a conservative 250 MT is 1250 MT, P/E 20 that is a ~330p+ year end target.
Ignoring the 60 MT recycling and the mini iPods, which will add another few hundred MTs next year.

I genuinely believe we are worth that, so at this price Mr Market is being very generous to us.

Good post Coco.

Thanks for the updates from all at the AGM today.

Delivery is on the way, it's going to take a little longer than had first anticipated, but remain reasonably on track.

Scrutable - Just a quick couple of questions around the margin calcs being a newbie to IOF .

Are we saying as a rough rule of thumb that revenue per KG is $60 , payaway to source provider of 'brine' is 20-25% of that $60k , say $15 with another $15 IOF opex per KG so we end up with 50% margin or $30/KG before any value add through the chemical side of the business ?

Do we have any estimate as to what the mix will be between , for want of a better expression , the directly produced iodine Vs the chemically enhanced.

Hope this makes sense and apologies is some of the nomenclature is a bit off.

Regards

DCG

Thanks for that update Mike, I was wondering considering that they had previously made one to test for the larger units.

On principle posters should be free to post genuine opinions about an investment however distasteful he, she, or it may be to anyone else. Lies and distortions to attempt to create fear and panic, and scurrilous personal attacks or obscenities are something else.

Re mobile plants: according to Chris yesterday, post meeting chat, design issues are about configuration of the various components within the containers for best fit - as apposed to fundamental issues with getting it to work.

Chris also said that they are made from readily available components, and can be constructed rapidly once design signed off. He was pretty sure there would be at least one operational by year end.

One of the most significant comments to me was Chris saying that he anticipated by end of 2014,having static plants 'in stock', i.e. they will be sourcing an inventory of components that will then go 'on site' as and when sites/constructors available.

As someone else has said, it seems seven onwards may/will be larger 50kbpd units. He was talking of going from the 2.4m dia titanium or f'glass to 4m dia f'glass.

He also explained - if you look at the pic's of the tanks - they are surrounded by a cage of steel, this is to allow for tornados.

Best wishes - Mike

re coco

I had messages that a message inferred coco was subtlety calling some liars.

Coco is the first to filter everyone with a ''goodbye crow' post. Hence blocked it until I have time to review it.

May need to review the leases and true oil, working on it later.
It's a conventional oil play. I suspect some iof leases are right next to it.

There has been some slippage of the commencement date for construction of 103 partly as a result of the land owner/farmer wishing to harvest his crops before the pad could be put down .....

Is this comment for real? Didn't they consider giving the farmer compensation for disrupted/lost acreage.

Good morning all...Hi SG will email you later. Your view on 'not around beyond 2014' I assume means we will be taken out by SQM or other? Not we will be in admin and bust!!
Something holding us back this morning as I see good buying pressure...not helped by the market generally crashing around the globe. L&G must have some more to go setting on the books keeping us back??

Re: 'can't see IOF being around beyond 2014'. I suppose that makes sense in a lot of ways, SQM will need to do something at some point and I suspect that the BOD will have met their target price for their shares.... wonder what that would be?

Thanks to all the agm attendees who have posted. Just some additional notes/thoughts which I don't think have been mentioned by other posters.
I'm not sure if it's been noted that IO4 will be the first plant installed which will be fabricated from FRP. Apologies if this has already been posted.
Also the "blowers" will continue to be imported from Ukraine as these will continue to be produced in titanium. I'm assuming that "the blower" is the piece of kit which I've seem on some recent posts which introduces the brine into the reaction vessel in droplet form. Some one might correct me.
Re the mobile units it's worth saying that they are still currently under design. So I would expect some slippage from the suggestion that there may be 2 in operation by the end of the year, given other priorities.
There has been some slippage of the commencement date for construction of 103 partly as a result of the land owner/farmer wishing to harvest his crops before the pad could be put down, so IO3 unlikely to be completed until right at the end of Q3 with production starting from early Q4.
I also think that when estimating how much each plant will produce annually, one should conservatively build in that there are likely to be regular production losses due to adverse weather conditions (as we have seen this year with the snow, tornadoes and heavy rains) and the oil producers' production and drilling priorities, both of which can temporarily limit availability of brine to the IOF plants.
