Good to see Writz read the rns right, some didn't (sorry C couldn't resist).

The water depot will go in this year post timely rights achieved, they said no water revenue this year, not, no depot.

ND still in play but a cunning plan :-).

3k confusion is 3/4k for a 1000ppm plus well with a pod on. io3 has 20k plus there already with more by the time it's built.

hyper site is not the 1000 plus above.

io3

Heard re that and thought no can't be, but it is, I checked. :-).

Opex low on next few plants it seems.

Timeline to radar heavy ping 2 months. Some watching but not quite got it yet, but then they were fed duff info lol.

Certain aspects far better than I imagined.

"CF said expect 6 plants to be in by the end of this year"

I expect that target to be missed.

"the target is a further 8 for next year."

I also expect that target to be missed.

Save this post.

A quick summary of my feedback from attending the AGM

The focus is on 2 things. Plant roll out and finding a new CEO.

Water depot is cheap, but will only go in after water permit is in place. Construction focus to be absolutely on core business plant roll out for now.

Expansion of IC is cheap for the time being - no new infrastructure required to achieve 800t/yr.

CF said expect 6 plants to be in by the end of this year and the target is a further 8 for next year. At 200mt/year each and 14 plants this is about 10% of world production. Clearly 200mt per year is very conservative given IO2 is doing better than that with weather issues and reduced brines. Reduced brines should be resolved soon.

Positives for me from what CF said are that OK is the focus for now, so plants to all have high ppms. Roll out is achievable and the full company focus is on this. Bigger plants are planned for next year. Mini IOs will be able to produce as much as large IOs and will start going in this year. The Iofina team are all doing a great job in all aspects of the business without Lance at the helm.

Finally I am more than happy with the slight delays as this means the next few plants at least will be much more profitable than they would have been in other locations as stated by CF so very much worth the wait.

Edit: water depot comment corrected

OH,I see my write up was cut off! I had wondered if ADVFN had a word limit!

In case anyone didn't see the rest on LSE (where I knew to cut it up a bit!):

WHAT ARE THE AVERAGE PPMs?
Maybe

Just switched off filter to see what the twits were saying, it really is a laugh
I must say i have not read such drivel for a very long time. Filters all back on again.

They ( with the agenda ) seem to read whatever they want into every company statement or report. Talk about biased and ill informed, I hope they know more about the shares they are invested in, if indeed they ever do invest.

Apologies if I missed this, can we expect presentations to follow while they are in the UK or are they packing up and jetting back tomorrow?

Great feedback thank you.

Oh, and don't think selling raw I in 2014 is the solution. You must invest in IC plant NOW to raise capacity. You have no long-term business plan. You have admitted as much today. Go back and read.

As the great Oscar languidly said. There's only one thing worse than being noticed. That's not being noticed at all.

Let's miss one target at a time Calmer1992. You have no money to develop water, no money to develop IC, no money to develop hydrocarbons. You've had to borrow $15m just to keep the roll-out going at the planned rate, no acceleration, and you've even missed very achievable targets.

You daren't even issue profit guidance.

If I was Investec I'd issue a SELL note tomorrow. Target 75p.

Does anyone know if investec will be issuing a new buy note? If they were at the AGM then they will be fully aware that IOF are almost certain that their water rights will be accepted for Montana so investec surely must add value from water to their target price? If they are waiting a couple of months for rights accepted before they add in water then with io3 and maybe io4 being online and with io2 running at full capacity we will be in for one hell of an upgrade from investec come August.

Thanks to all for the most informative feedback. Far better than the AGM statement today led me to believe. Looking forward to the future.

madchick and naphar, your reports added a lot of flavour and colour to the facts already thanked for. Very helpful to those who couldn't attend, so further thanks.

No I hadn't. I assumed no tax after 3 years of tax losses and took a PE of x20 which would be very low for a company with IOF's profit growth in 2014 - so we disagree

Hyper

Just saw that. Yes clearly some excitement around pods declared.

These locations will be low bpd, perhaps single wells but some high and very high ppms.

Thanks for the clarification naphar. Happy with the forward move on the mini's, I thought that testing had taken place with a mini they built prior to moving on to the large plants, so assume that it is a similar situation when IO1 was built in that they fabricate them and put them in situ... to be honest I thought that they know the mini's work, and it's a matter of replication and maybe updating from their original build.

Hope that it is a consistent and nicely sustainable rise from here without the 'trading' volatility. I am hoping also that with the weather now settled and on their side that the oilies can put in their back up generators to improve consistency in supply.
