Thanks CR for linking us to such an unbiased site.

You should also send that link to all the other companies that Dr. Fay works for, or has worked for, since then.

Obviously they all missed that important view on his negotiating method.

LOL @CR, there are better places to search if you want to dig up dirt :)

I see GDL is mentioned, unfortunately there may be a bit of chaos on Monday for PI's, however my thoughts are well known on GDL (it was raised agian here recently) and I'm completely unwelcome on that thread.

I think the BOD there were being in some ways misleading in their rns's and have said so. So yes I do dig and did so there, that's why I ignored the 'hot tip'.

Zen has made a good point over there, but I doubt that will help much with headless chickens next week, it's the way of the herd. We saw it with the sick leave rns.

Yes, I've done all that, I just wondered if anyone could tell me any more about him. I'm always suspicious of people that insist on being called "Doctor" when they aren't a medical doctor - seems to me they are trying to give themselves more gravitas imo:

Google does turn up interesting things imo:

CR.
All you have to do is type Dr. Chris Fay into Google!

It's not that difficult.

No, was just asking a simple question Librairian :-)

It never fails to amaze me how so many punters can attack someone and say they know sweet FA about the co but when you ask a simple basic question there's few that can answer it.

Cest la vie :-)

CR is a good poster but, like all of us, he does not get it right all the time and IMHO is very wrong re IOF. Looking at SG1's very old posts will clearly show that he knows what he is talking about and CR hasn't done this or he wouldn't dismiss the share/research as hyped. Superglass is one he has been into before for example which has shattered totally since he was into them. There will no doubt be many others. Don't be fooled by the current Superglass price as that's due to some sort of share consolidation.

Try again!

I agree with Che regarding the ramping a stock after buying in, then telling followers of the purchase, sell and leaving them high and dry.... not nice, not much of a conscience, why anyone follows TW is beyond me!

Yes, I would be gutted if I lost all of my investment in Iofina, but I like to think my specialised area is judging characters and reacting to their reactions (if that makes sense). Lance Baller, apart from being a workaholic is a fine honest man and has shown that with the respect that he gives to PI's, taking the time (and patience) to answer any question honestly over a protracted period of time. Who else gives a damn about PI's, don't remember any other company mentioning them, never mind ensuring that our money is safe. I don't believe that he has a dishonest bone in his body.

My other area of specialisation is company growth and whether they can actually do what they say they are going to. As I have said before, look back at old RNS's and presentations and they have remained focussed on the end goal for some time... however that did change from building it up for a buy out to ... bloody hell, look at the value that can be extracted from Iodine.

They have always been one step ahead of my thinking, however they did get ahead of themselves with the water and I bought into that, but it's on it's way :-)

One criticism, they should be focussing on getting those mini's up and running, the returns off those for initial outlay are phenomenal, but they are on their way too!

Thanks superg very detailed response as we've come to expect. O/t it appears your GDL verdict is on the ball as well sadly, though I still hold a few. Unlike Iof it's a long wait for news.

Excellent post pcjoe and I am sure we can look forward to a very bright future. Don't let CR rile you too much he's a decent chap really and doesn't often upset other investors. I suspect some of our comments got under his skin too.
Roll on next week.

The twitter link CR posted yesterday led me to realise he is Richard Crow brother of the infamous Bob Crow, RMT leader. Richard also bills himself as the man who paints the stars, his paintings aren't too bad though the expressions look,a little constipated.
