While mentioning acreage, just to note (spotted over the W/E), there is a company called Montana resources exploring just east of IOF's acreage. They are a Canadian company who have acreage in Canada too just over the border. That area is known as the Shaunavon which they connect to the Bakken. Exploratory drilling in Montana started in Oct 13. Worth keeping an eye on to see what they find

Yes and what's the betting a few O&G companies have been knocking on the door of Iofina's 253,000 acres!

Here's a great read highlighting the growth and potential of the Bakken.

Interesting news from Magnolia Oil. Large number of requests for drilling on their leases in Bakken, North Dakota and Mississipian Lime. Also reported in Daily Mail.
Could be hotting up soon on the oil front.

Nice rise today, was glad to see that Ennismore not closed anymore of their short yet so we still have to come as well in the near future, some good buy recommendations appearing on the analyst/share tips now as well, think we have seen the worst, Looking like there could be an RNS about to appear judging on todays rise

alfie - problem is an awful lot didn't hold the shares, they were on sb's and cfd's, were very heavily geared and in my view more responsible for the share price collapse to this level than shorting institutions (who must have loved the fact it was so popular with pi's)... or Netley, who uncomfortable as it is for some, actually called it right.

Hi FreddieIn fairness, aren't Hargreaves Lansdowne, Barclays and Selftrade's stakes all just nominee accounts for PI's? Maybe some others from that list that I don't recognise. Happy to be corrected in the (likely) event I've got the wrong end of the stick:-)

Agree rogerbridge. Showing the market rising production data on a quarterly basis will be the making of Iofina.

Cannot wait to see the MT output of an optimised IOF#2!!

Let's hope so Bobsworth. It is certainly looking better over the last couple of days. Another couple of months with some production updates and water news, should see the share price moving in the right direction.

Good to see an upturn in the share price today. Thats cheered me up after a bad day at work. Fingers crossed this is just the start with plant commissioning news on the horizon and presentations next week for which Iofina must have something good to tell them!
