03/2/2014 09:18 | Infra, Exactly, the cashflow from water will allow accelerated rollout of plants, the market will rationalise this at some stage. | ![]() che7win
03/2/2014 09:05 | Josh No idea, but not expensive v returns. It all depends on factors of how much hot water they would do, heating tanks etc etc. Hot water used on fracking is giving better results. For heating they could link with someone like Armstrong. That's where I got rough opex from.... Cost comparisons based on a 70,000-barrel Frac size, with a 70-degree temperature rise. Typical Frac Heater cost assumes $0.03 per barrel / per degree. 3 cents per degree 70 degree rise = $2.10 pb heating cost | ![]() superg1
03/2/2014 09:04 | N3tleyLucas Hats off to you sir! You sure have a way with words!Congratulation Now, wouldn't you agree, with the issue of this RNS, IOF,s future is, indeed, looking far more rosier than pre 7am? | strowan lea
03/2/2014 09:04 | or to put it another way the Iodine business is in for nothing (not to mention oil, Helium and other water.) | ![]() iofra
03/2/2014 09:01 | The water grant on 80,000 Bpd is worth 80p according to my calculations and assuming full utilisation. On that basis, every 10,000 Bpd granted is worth 10p on the share price. | ![]() che7win
03/2/2014 08:57 | Well done Iofina. | ![]() bobsworth
03/2/2014 08:51 | I thought shorters provided you rampers with supply when there was none? They just took a bet that bad news would hammer this stock to pieces, and won. You did the hard selling, not shorters... you lost the bet. Get over it and stop posting rubbish. | n3tleylucas
03/2/2014 08:44 | Good news and good RNS: they can do it if they try :-) Nice blend of complete cooperation and quiet threat of legal process if the DNRC continue to drag their feet. At some point the DNRC must realise that this permit is going to bring considerable benefit to the state of MT. | engelo
03/2/2014 08:30 | Does anyone know the costs to construct the water Depot? | ![]() josh_ftm
03/2/2014 08:26 | As Bob Shaver (ND) in an interview with a news channel said. If the applicant meets all the criteria then by law they have to award the permit. That's a very clear statement by IOF on the hearing. A hearing is when it involves legal teams. Clearly IOF believe legally a permit should be granted. So do I, having read many of the rules/laws. It is a big permit, and I do wonder if it's one of the biggest ever applied for in both states. If successful It could be one of the largest water depots in the either Montana or ND. | ![]() superg1
03/2/2014 08:18 | Excellent news well done to the BOD. | peterz
03/2/2014 08:16 | Excellent news, It certainly will be bringing beads of sweat to the shorters brows. The engineering queries look to have been satisfied and it looks to me that the water will be granted. The further questions the board is asking look to be geared towards how much of the 80,000 bbd the board grants to IOF, but looks like they are going to get some or all of it. Should help the share price today, after all we fell 20p or so in December due to water. | ![]() che7win
03/2/2014 08:13 | Yes, clearly written RNS for non core business. the core business will remain under the radar until we start getting production numbers. so a few more months | ![]() 1madmarky
03/2/2014 08:12 | Positive news for the future of IOF and we now should be able to start a re-rating. Anyone who has dealt with this type of official body will appreciate how every I has to be dotted and every t crossed. IOF have presented the information and it has been accepted this information will be issued in the format required. So the talks have gone well and we are on the way. Lots more tho come from the water I wonder how much this division is worth if offloaded in a year or two? Maybe the best option is to use it as a cash cow. | ![]() rogerbridge
03/2/2014 08:06 | This proves IOF can write a very clear rns when it suits them. It suited them today because we are so close now. We are down to dotting the I's and crossing the T's. | ![]() ansana
03/2/2014 07:57 | all coming together nicely. | ![]() jointer13
03/2/2014 07:52 | Some interesting phrases in that RNS. I like "legal", interesting how it says "collaborate". | ![]() killerbudgie
03/2/2014 07:51 | That line for the pipeline construction document.... 'The pipeline is proposed to be constructed in the fall of 2013 or spring of 2014 once all water permits are acquired. The pipeline would be used on a year around basis to transport water to the fresh water depot.' | ![]() superg1
03/2/2014 07:48 | looks like we are going to be a water provider...extremely high profits for non core business as I said earlier.....take no notice of the derampers, | ![]() jointer13
03/2/2014 07:42 | Any ideas why we need revised letters of intent- Perhaps the Halliburton letters were looking a bit out of date? | bryproj
03/2/2014 07:38 | The engineering query looks complete as stated, and the very important point of the water being legally available. If you have taken the time to bore yourself enough, there are a number of closed basins in Montana where no further rights are allowed, but the area which IOF applied is ok. All that is left is the beneficial use side, and IOF have the letters of intent, clearly any extra surrounds that subject. The points raised with my opinion were based on the fact I struggled to see how under the laws and rules that the state could dent them a permit, and that legally if it went to a hearing a permit would have to be awarded (they often are at hearings). IOF obviously think so too, as they would immediately request a hearing if denied. So they seem confident, and why not, they have complied with all requirements. The fact is they give permits to others, for the same reason, so why discriminate against IOF, unjustifiably and against the rules. As for the rights of way document on their site, there is a line that shows that IOF would construct the pipeline in the fall of 2013, or the spring of 2014. I doubt very much the full 60 days will pass before a decision, that draft to deny had until the 30th January. All going well the Spring 2014 plan could go ahead | ![]() superg1
03/2/2014 07:36 | That will do fine thank you. With the water being available legally and physically, there is no reason for them to deny the permit. Shareholders have been crying out for IOF to update the market more often with progress, they are keeping to their promises here. Should see a nice bounce. | ![]() diggulden
03/2/2014 07:34 | Anyone else sensing a changing in the fortunes of Iofina ?? Finally - things look like they are coming together.... | ![]() molatovkid
03/2/2014 07:31 | A swift run up to Chris Faye's 105p perhaps. Who will close first as the buyers return! | hurricane. |
