With hindsight, the company lost it's way somewhat since Lance stood down.

However, the underlying business is strong, the Numis note underplays the prospects somewhat.

The company knows what needs to be done, but they have let a lot things slip. The share price can do what it wants, I'm confident that the business is well undervalued now.

I don't really care what others do, my main concern right now is that confidence is shot to pieces and the business is opening the door to a takeover.

So we have/have had a seller, isn't this where GMP/numis earn their fees to find a willing buyer..

I think a drop from £1 to 70p warrants an RNS.....

Accurate description of where I am...I am just angry (with myself) for buying all the way down to where we are...and still falling...!

I shall shut up now....work to do!

good luck to most here.

warmsun - I understand your frustration, and must assume that you are sitting on some paper losses here, but you will have to just grit your teeth and wait for this situation to turnaround. The metrics and fundamentals here certainly provide the potential for this to happen, providing management don't screw
it up going forward. Good luck !

sg, I haven't blamed anyone (other than myself)and, Masurenguy, yes, probably an over generalisation (apologies), but, you get my drift.

We need some good news soon...please...!

You are not wrong there Warmsun.

Like others I have a number filtered. In particular a certain section (not who you may think)

That section are the investors that were moaning and blaming everyone else, last month and in the months prior.

A number of posters said )in response to the moaning) along the lines of, sell then, why stay in something you have such a dim view of etc etc.

That includes at prices more than double the current price.

Some of those moaners are still in, blaming everyone else once more. ??????????????

warmsun #15355: "AIM, the crooked market I have (wrongly) invested in"

Ridiculous generaisation and comment. AIM is not a "crooked market"! It is a lightly regulated market which enables some poorly managed and dubiously ethical companies to operate until they eventually crash and burn or are exposed. However there are plenty of good and well managed companies on AIM too.

good post skasher.

just to add, we were producing over a ton of iodine a day with io1 and io2.... io1 being our low producing pilot plant.so io3 also producing now, with io4 and io5 anytime now.... the roll out is happening!

the main reason why I invested.

just hoping we don't have a cheap t.o.

Was that sale on the 24th, the day the first Numis note came out?

sg, my comments weren't necessarily aimed at IOF .....it was more to do with AIM, the crooked market I have (wrongly) invested in....

Good post Skasher. With a string of news due shortly. Sentiment will change imo. These are very cheap on a number of metrics. I wouldn't be surprised if a large player gets a slide ruler out.

Tough times
Like being in a sandstorm wondering when it will
Finally end
Some of the low predictions on the share price have come to pass
More by accident than design as if it had been by design explanations
Would have been given then not now in hindsight
Investors need to revisit why they invested here
If it was only on other peoples advice then they deserve all they
Get financially and should take responsibility for their own folly
Management are yet to deliver doesn't mean it won't happen
Just means as yet it still hasn't.
We still have large parcels of land in valuable places
We still have contracts with oil exploration companies for their iodine
We still have our water outtake position
Some people on here need to grow some balls and stop feeling sorry for themselves

Napoleon post 15332.

Personally I applaud your view re price entry points and the list (not the actual prices, before someone kicks off), but the thinking process behind your strategy.

You are clearly not one to chase a price on any share in fear of missing out.

If one flies cross it off the watch list, and so on, simple stuff and no doubt at times effective.

Research.....where does it get us........? I have studied IOF for hours and hours over the last year or so...I have also taken (and was grateful for) all the valuable findings by many posters here. And, this BB has over 15,000 posts to its name with various amounts of information pertinent to the company...yet.......where did it get me.....? Well, as well as buying in the high 50s in september(ish) 2012, I have ended up (by researching) buying shares at over £2.00 and continuing to buy as the share price continued to fall....where has it got me.....sitting on a gigantic loss....research.....a complete waste of time!
I could go on....and on...and on.....but, best I stop now.
