22/9/2013 13:14 | Well meadow, the idea is you use it all ... sadly you've a heap of overpriced Chilean stuff to wade through 1st, plus you've limited capacity @IC. So the idea is to flog everything over 800 tonnes pa ... that will lower the I price. The model is essentially flawed because you are under capitalised. I've said this all before, but you'll only believe it when the bond can't be repaid/converted and the D4E swamping occurs, or the company folds. You are owned ... Stena have you by the balls. The irony may have escaped you ... but CF is the architect of your own destruction. Greek. | n3tleylucas
22/9/2013 11:34 | Does anyone have any idea as to how much iodine Iofina uses in its own business and, therefor, will be supplying to itself? If so, it should be possible to calculate the approximate benefit to the company of this self-supplying part of its production against buying in the open market. | ![]() meadow2

22/9/2013 11:14 | Up - In this game a bit of caution never goes amiss, and you express yourself well. As for pictures and video .. well, sorry about that! Here's hoping the numbers in black and white in an official company statement will be good enough for all of us. | roboben
22/9/2013 10:42 | A strip back to io2 and the one water depot. io2 400mt $50 kg $15 opex = $14m profit. Water depot 1, 80k bpd @ $1 pb 20 cents opex = $23m profit. So $37 mill (£23 mill)p.a. from io2 and 1 depot (due in 2014) it will come, so will others. PE 15 75p £6.3m. Now add in io3 to 6 this , pods, maxsorb and hydrosorb next year along with another 6 plants. Another 800mt on top of io2 (intended rate post io6, another $28m profit to add to add. So io2 to 6 and 1 depot around £40m profit before tax but stills gives £26 mill with 35% tax and not considering losses they can set against it from prior years. Add another depot (or more maybe) and 6 more plants next year and it doubles up again. Assuming sales of course, but with one or two Chile miners on the way out due to high capex and opex, plus IOF being the lowest cost producer and the US importing near 6000mt, there is a gap to fill. | ![]() superg1
22/9/2013 10:37 | I agree there Roboben. Forgive me if I appear sometimes a little unenthused, the only reason is I try and keep a lid on my expectations, sometimes it may appear negative but its not really intended to be anymore than some of the over excitement on here is intentioned to ramp. I am sometimes a little cautious of RNS's even when it is spelt out in black and white (as an ex BPRG holder, luckily out at b/e ). Now if you could get me some pictures and video footage that would do it.... | ![]() uppompeii

22/9/2013 10:11 | Up, No supposition, the rns states: build-out of the Group's IO#3 and the on-going construction of IO#4, IO#5, and IO#6. Mr Lantz was also responsible for financial controls, business development, and managed the build-out of the Group's IO#3, and the on-going construction of IO#4, IO#5, and IO#6, iodine extraction plants based on Iofina's WET(R) IOsorb(TM) technology. So the above is fact and not assumption - presumption - surmise - guess - conjecture. | ![]() noli
22/9/2013 09:45 | Dr. Andrew posts: "Lots of positive info is about. The CEO RNS suggests IO3 is complete and IO4-6 are in build. Rumours suggest IO2 could be at or around full capacity for brine with brine all sorted for the new plants and IO7-8 to start construction this year. Clearly we now have a CEO that understands how to roll out the plants which bodes well for the future." "RNS suggests IO3" "rumours suggest IO2" "IO2 could be at or around" "rumours suggest..brine all sorted" "rumours suggest...IO7-8 to start..this year" A little too much supposition there. The CEO may well understand how to roll out the plants, perhaps this week they will tell the shareholders with the emphasis on a little more clarity. The share price over the next few days will be interesting. | ![]() uppompeii
21/9/2013 23:26 | Angel, I don't think anyone does expect a divi at this stage of proceedings. My post was past tense. Those at the proactive investors presentation a year or so ago might have expected it to be a possibility this year, but we might also have expected water revenue this year, the profits from which could have paid a small maiden dividend. As for a share buy back H1 2014 Monty, I doubt that is likely, H1 would be too early IMO. | ![]() naphar

21/9/2013 14:29 | DrA, Yes I agree, start thinking about all the other stuff and the potential is here for sure in my mind. I guess I am once bitten and twice shy. Those of us at the proactive investors presentation may well have expected we could potentially get a divi this year, I suspect delivery has not been quick enough to make that a reality. Many of us would have expected much higher output due to faster rollouts this year, like one per quarter and Io2 up to speed much sooner than September. Things to wrong, delays happen. All I am saying is that based on your 300mt-450mt output assumptions, I think your expected outputs and profits are overstated. I don't make the point to de-ramp, just to challenge something I don't see as realistic, to keep my own expectations in check. I do applaud you in putting up your analysis though, something I am avoiding lately, simply because I am not putting any together. There are too many unknowns for me currently to bother, I could be miles out either way. Once IO3-6 are running for a while and others coming on stream, we will all have better info to base things on. An interesting week ahead me thinks. | ![]() naphar |
