Well there you go .......Hurricane was right again.

Anyone want an 'I love Hurricane mug' let me know it's cheaper on bulk orders.

Moving swiftly on.

Bag io2 is doing fine. The GMP note said 80% current run rate which is 24k bpd so a clue there that they are potentially beyond previous highs on production, but it may be out of date

Not only that, but the new CEO has:-
"managed the build-out of the Group's IO#3, and the on-going construction of IO#4, IO#5, and IO#6, iodine extraction plants based on Iofina's WET(R) IOsorb(TM) technology."

So, not only do we have a new CEO but we also have just been told that IO3 has been built (its not ongoing) and that the builds of 4-6 are all underway.

Great news!

Great news, and:

"Commenting on the appointment Dr. Chris Fay, Non-Executive Chairman said: We are delighted to welcome George to the Board at a very exciting time of becoming a preeminent fast growing iodine producer".

How can you possibly know what I do and don't know? you are wrong, I am absolutely sure of that. I just carry a lot more discipline that most.

Research doesn't necessarily involve anything to do with the city or IOF. There are many ways to skin a cat, in these times of the web and numerous ways of finding or obtaining information.

We proved that on FUM naming a confidential product name before it was announced.

If some give up, or can't be bothered to look that is up to them. In my world there is no such thing as a dead end. I have the mentality that if I haven't found something, then it's because I've not looked hard enough.

When Lance went off sick initially the first month seemed like a rudderless ship and the Directors suddenly became aware of how much he actually did, so to put everything back on track what did they do?

Appointed a CFO (Lance used to cover that role), they appointed a company secretary (Lance used to cover that role), someone was appointed specifically to deal with the water apps, who initiated it all?

All the pointers seem to be that everything is on time and very focussed ... and Lance is still there as a consultant, but somebody must be there as a decision maker because the company appears to be running smoothly and efficiently. For the number of employees that the company has I am impressed at what they have achieved over the last few months, they must All be working very hard.

Because they are efficient I don't believe for one minute that they don't have a CEO in place, maybe the NOMAD has an RNS in their hands. It's likely that they are also aware or asking for the mid RNS and decide to put it all in that. Who knows? But it isn't long until we all do.

It is frustrating having to wait for confirmation for all of these things and I feel sure that the city and definitely Investec are three steps ahead of the PI's, but the fact that the 'team' are out there over the next two weeks promoting Iofina in the UK and Europe (Germany is a big user of Iodine)shows a quiet confidence.

Bagette, you say that if we haven't got a CEO in the very near future, we should all sell our shares:

True: IF plants 3 to 6 don't appear by year end.

True: IF 3 to 5 are not connected up and functioning profitably by year end.

True, IF IO Chemical have not significantly increased their sales.

So, what if by year end all the above are going to plan and we still don't have a CEO: you still think we should sell our shares?? (although I'm sure we will have a shiny new CEO much sooner than that).

As I have explained before, the company is not rudderless. Lance is a paid consultant. What management are doing now is what they were doing before Lance resigned as CEO.

The 'suits' running IOF are perfectly capable of finding a CEO, the have plenty of background and gravitas to do so. It is not 'six months' it is three months and two weeks since Lance changed jobs.

Your simplistic analysis and impatience lacks maturity. IOF have very clearly stated they will - on the 25th - tell us what happened in H1, what they expect to have happened by end of H2. They have said they will give us (and analysts) enough information to make forecasts and valuations.

Water will happen when it's ready (there is absolutely no evidence to say it wont).

We will get a new CEO (why wouldn't we?).

Have you met sg? I have several times. You can ignore him as much as you like, I don't. Time will tell who is right, all 6 days of it.

Best wishes - Mike

There is no need to wait until notice is served before a ceo appointment is announced; therefore, we can only conclude that either an appointment has not been made or that the company doesn't wish, at this stage, to RNS the information.

Baguette, please keep your frustration in check for just a few more days.
You see SuperG doesn't need to post here, yet he does, and many of us are grateful for what he shares.
Neither is he anonymous, as many PI's met him at the last presentations in London.

I don't like PI's being led astray either, if I thought I was, I would have sold my shares. However, your concerns about IOF are valid, but if SuperG DOES know more than us from his incessant and relentless research then you only have a few days to wait and see.

At that point, I will either be very grateful, or I will be in your camp and have lost a shed-load of money.

Interesting profile: less than 6 months in, just 11 posts...

Nine posts re. Waterhall; two posts re. IOF.

Of the two re. IOF: one post (Iofina - 4823) challenging NL; then this last one (8414) agreeing with him wholeheartedly...

All posts grammatically correct and perfect spelling...

But, hey, what do I know? What do YOU think, Netters?

Difference is I acknowledge SG's technical analysis work its very impressive but I dont go along with his apparent speaking on behalf of the company - look back on his placebo comments over the last couple of months and time has shown he does not actually know any better than you or I and I dont like PI's being led astray
