05/8/2013 12:11 | Writz: I'm also a big fan of HL. Been with them for years and the service has been excellent throughout. Online dealing cheap and easy. And they answer the phone, a point that is often overlooked :-) freshvoice: exactly! Using the nominal spread method of 0.5p share price is immaterial. Maybe some worrying about a big jump this week (nice worry to have), but imo we've a month or so to wait before the ping. | engelo
05/8/2013 11:55 | Same as you fresh. | bogg1e
05/8/2013 11:52 | Surely there is no rush to convert to ISA? Better to let the bugs out of the system and do it later when the stampede is over. The spread will be the same and I can't see the price roaring away for a couple of days. | freshvoice
05/8/2013 11:46 | My bed & Isa hasn't gone so smoothly with interactive investor. Sale went through but repurchase in Isa hasn't. They tell me I can't touch my cash until they sort out what's gone wrong. I'm not alone apparently. | gkgdownie

05/8/2013 11:35 | Writz, I stayed with TDW in the end. Today's service was poor and the login failed until about 11:00 am, but that's very rare and probably attributable to todays aim isa dealing. Normally i get good service online or by phone, very helpful and competitive rates. | bogg1e
05/8/2013 11:32 | Writz Try Sippdeal (I have dealing and ISA accounts in addition to my Sipp) | joeywald
05/8/2013 11:31 | not sure about hot tips (OK, IOF then, lol) but I use Hargreaves Lansdown - I have had excellent low cost service - do it all online - here is their ISA offering hxxp://www.hl.co.uk/ | orslega
05/8/2013 11:29 | Selftrade will not do the bed and isa deal anyway, so it just cost me almost the full spread! | naphar
05/8/2013 11:23 | Sorry for O/T, but I asked this question on the Tipsters thread last week and nobody seems to be there. Because Selftrade won't open new accounts (?!), I'm having to migrate to open an ISA for my wife. There are lots of execution-only online/phone brokers around, but if anyone has any hot tips I'd be interested to hear. I don't need high frequency trading, but I do want an inexpensive and reliable service. TIA. | writz
05/8/2013 11:10 | Pleco I don't think they have a spread as such. Matrix explained they will do it with around a .5p spread generally. I've been busy recently and not had time to ort the ISA side out myself, but will do, I would imagine it is a bit chaotic re that on many AIMs. A very handy addition that. CGT plus isa now to convert each year. Re patents, some have asked me. There are a number of patents in the application process which cover the iosorb tech and other matters. The biggy in general terms was the last one. I didn't realise the business model would be patented, but that the end of the day it's a new idea with technology converting a waste stream into cash at swd sites. This, I believe was the patent, some thought wouldn't be achieved. It doesn't leave a lot left for anyone thinking of entering that sector, room to manoeuvre. However it seems no one other than iof have been seriously developing the tech anyway. The one that could have done that (Toyota, decided Chile was the only viable option, as Chile in their view, is the only place left with commercial resources. Well now they will be starting to realise, they were wrong. | superg1
05/8/2013 10:48 | I was a little concerned that my Bed & ISA has not gone through. Hargreaves Lansdown tell me that they have 100s waiting to go through. I hope that the spread is not too great when my deal takes place. | pleco
05/8/2013 10:37 | TDW ok now, and max moved into ISA at 0.5p spread and little cost. | hew
05/8/2013 10:02 | Moved maximum allowable into ISA through TSB share dealing - very easy and not a wide spread. | baguette

05/8/2013 09:45 | Hew Cheers. | bogg1e
05/8/2013 09:44 | TDW, yes a problem, cannot log in. Phone line has a front end message: "Apologise and working hard to resolve". The dedicated phone number for fail to log in "has an unusual load and may be delay". Suppose it may be just AIM ISA overload. | hew
05/8/2013 09:39 | SG1 cheers. I cant even get into the TDW account this morning. Anyone else having problems with TDW? Thanks. Just called TDW - they are having problems with the log in generally atm, just in case anyone with a TDW account is wondering the same! | bogg1e
05/8/2013 09:19 | I think someone has posted it, but just to clarify Hydrosorb and Max sorb. Hydrosorb = sites so high in ppm that the blow out tower system is not needed, and production can be achieved straight from the brine stream What the rns said-: , the Board is pleased to announce the discovery of multiple sites with extremely high iodine concentrations. The Company is developing a unique Hydrosorb processing unit to match the characteristics of these sites. This plant will be able to produce significant volumes of iodine without the expense of processing large water volumes So Hydrosorb is said not to need towers, and the unique process is iodine straight from the brine stream. Probably another first in the iodine industry it seems. Maxsorb The Company is also in the process of developing its Mobile and MaxSorb units to meet the needs of additional production profiles. Mobile = pods on very high/hyper ppm single wells. We knew that bit. Maxsorb = The bigger plants greater than 30k bpd. These will have towers on the sites below Hydrosorb ppm levels. So the 300ppm plus to mid hundreds and higher ppm sites. We already know they have a 100k bpd site somewhere in OK and 50k bpd plants planned. | superg1
