digg Thanks for that info - if that job position is current I am just amazed that no such person is already in place and rather supports my recent views that a vacuum appeared to exist.

Anyway lets be very pleased that such a person will be put in place but again I am surprised that they will not be required to manage others.

Cheltenham>Somerset Arms Bogg1e. We just know a good thing when we come across one. 23 people in and around the pub invested. All staying long and all own the physical shares.

We're all positive although the paper wealth of the locality took a nose dive on Monday!

I get the impression a lot of you have local "share clubs"? Cheltenham and somerset share clans by the sound of it, how did you set them up? Put an add in the local paper and met up at a pub or something? Im in newbury, and bar a neighbour with a portfolio I dont know many people who watch shares. It would be interesting to share and discuss some fresh leads. After all once we've all made a fortune on IOFs takeover there's gotta be another good play to stick your money on ;-)

Yes I did Netley. I used to be a subscriber many years previously and one day received a letter out of the blue asking for a donation in order to keep them going. Contributed for two years..Anyhow, my apologies to SuperG and others as I have not read the header but I will no longer post here as I have no position either way and do not want to violate your house rules.
