24/6/2013 17:07 | Yes Richard, same with me. I have often thought about gearing and getting more leverage, but have not done it mainly through the reading of horror stories when share price movements can catch you out - today being a prime example as most didn't see this coming with IOF. Glad to see you are still around, and good luck! | ![]() bobbyshilling
24/6/2013 17:05 | I am afraid it could double bottom the lowest price reached today of 109p. I had a good run from 115.67p to 140p , just to see it spikes to 155p 30 mins later. Not bad 21% gain in 30 mins Loads of stop got hit here, cascading the stampede. Most probably your own brokers hitting bids and then triggering margin calls | ![]() ninja 19
24/6/2013 17:04 | Well, buys and sells are almost on a par, so I assume that it isn't a true picture, otherwise this huge drop today makes even LESS sense, if that were possible. | ![]() worraps
24/6/2013 17:02 | This is the AIM market at it's worst. Traders, shorters MM's all working to "manage' (some call it manipulate) the market, simply because they can. This market is not for the faint-hearted and the sooner we can migrate to a more reliable trading venue the better. Let's face it, they have the upper hand, and use it regularly to slap the individual investor around. | ![]() benny hanna
24/6/2013 16:58 | Well, LB is still supposed to be there in a consulting capacity.....I hope the others are doing some consulting with him. Lance must be feeling very uncomfortable at this turn of events, I would think. | ![]() worraps
24/6/2013 16:57 | warren take you're advice and sticky somewhere. | hitsha3
24/6/2013 16:56 | Hi bobbyshilling: good to hear from you! For me, the two stocks I'm in are IOF and TPL (!). No, it's not been a good few days for us, that's for sure! For me, to have shares fully bought and paid for, and without any gearing, does limit the fear factor. I think we both agree that IOF and TPL are two outstanding stocks, and as it's investment "for the duration", together with - in both cases - fairly near-term takeover candidacy (but it had better be at decent prices!!), I think we should do very well with both. Patience, investing, no gearing, long-term: that's what it's about from my end - and I think you also? Kind regards, Richard | rhwillcol
24/6/2013 16:38 | Change your name from worraps to elgae, might bring a change of luck ,and give you an uplift.Seriously Im sure everyone can relate to your feelings .Hope you werent on margin. | ![]() pwcarnall
24/6/2013 16:38 | Hitsha IOF are gonna ban you soon with your ridiculous perstering leave them alone man - here's my advice as you don't understand even the basics of investing - sell every stock you own and read whatever you can about stocks and shares and start in the FTSE - AIM is not for you - just some friendly advice | warrensearle
24/6/2013 16:37 | Hi rhwillcol. How are you? Not a good few days for us recently, when one looks at TPL performance too. | ![]() bobbyshilling
24/6/2013 16:35 | The drop towards the end of the day doesn't surprise me to much a lot of day traders will be cashing in before the close they won't want to be risking an overnight stay, Hopefully tomorrow it will be more stable but don't quote me on that lol | nevmyers
24/6/2013 16:33 | worraps/bobbyshillin Edit: yes, plus broker update: I sincerely hope so. | rhwillcol
24/6/2013 16:32 | Positive broker note as well. BOD have taken a paper hit too. | ![]() bobbyshilling

24/6/2013 16:28 | Hopefully issue an RNS with a more positive slant than the last one. No more under the radar, it's become far too expensive! | ![]() worraps
24/6/2013 16:26 | From hit, post 3505:- 'I will be working with our BOD, NOMAD, broker and PR firm today to see what we can do to mitigate our exposure to this market'. Any idea what they mean or can do? | ![]() bobbyshilling

24/6/2013 16:18 | superg has reassured everyone that all is well, and nothing whatsover is wrong or changed in any way.....so thanks for that, superg, it does help when you're a nervous investor like me, who's had disasters in the past, and had hoped it would never happen again. | ![]() worraps
24/6/2013 16:18 | If this helps everyone. Thank you again for your email. I can understand your concern of the recent price-volatility but I can assure you that all of us here are head down, grinding to get these plants up and running. It seems that, amongst other factors, we have become victims of this recent down market, especially in regards to commodities. I will be working with our BOD, NOMAD, broker and PR firm today to see what we can do to mitigate our exposure to this market. Regards, Sam Huebner | hitsha3
24/6/2013 16:14 | Well, if someone can tell me they'll go up again afterwards....then I will ! But I've lost alot of confidence today, to say the least. I was actually physically shaking this morning! | ![]() worraps
