Bon Dia, whoever logged on from Portugal - in another few months when IOF take off, I may end up with a little place there myself!

Re Finn

From one who has been at the core of that.

"their market reputation amongst institutions has grown significantly over the past few years"

As mentioned the CEO I spoke to about a week ago, loves them.

Btw all

The flag counter (if anyone noticed) has been added just for my purposes.

Also, this nomad change has been planned for many months, and to add to that I think GMP couldn't work out what planet Numis were on in that disastrous update they gave.

The usual 'fund raising' comment comes on any thread where there is a change. changes are normally down to poor service by the nomad.

The only fund raising I can see in the future would be next year for a water depot if iof get the permit, but it seems clear IOF would want to spin off the water division due to their comments made. However it's highly likely, and very heavily rumoured, that a JV is sitting and waiting for the hearing outcome. talk of a cash lump sum.

So we sit and wait to see if we get the permit, and if a JV quickly follows with cash up front.

Ah macca may have solved the puzzle?

a) The Company will not fund this non-core water project with the current Iofina cash on hand

b) but instead seek a joint venture partner

c) or specific project financing exclusively within Atlantis Water Solutions.

a) + c} ?

"continue to evaluate all aspects of the Company"

That's been bugging me Graham, since last night - and now we have Raggett & Rolls on our case!? What's going down Graham? You do know don't you? Need a beer Graham? I do... this is a 12 can problem.

Mind you, if say the holders of the $20m - Chris & Aaron - wanted their money back fast, and Raggett & Rolls could find 'investors' prepared to accept lower rates, then even after fees it might be worth it eh Graham? Why would they want their money back though? They're getting $1.2m a year interest... and this is a great investment, isn't it?

Have a look at Chris Raggett & Charles Rolls mate, see what they do. They look like good raisers Graham, they know what they're doing... now why would we be looking to raise Graham? Surely we're not looking to refinance the debt this early? Over 2 years left? Can you look into that please Graham?

Working on a new header Graham? Good lad, get it sorted nicely. Flag counters are great, if you pay them they give you everyone's IP address. Mind you, you know my actual address... or so you say. pmsl

I hear you are terminating your paid membership after yesterday's disappointing comms with ADVFN? How's that going to work? We'll have every disruptive poster on here!

I haven't been able to do a lot of research in the last few days due to an 'incident' where a number of random folks that would probably make suitable trash posters here, made the mistake of stepping between a grizzly bear and his cubs.

I don't think they will do that again in a hurry. More or less sorted now, so I'll get back to digging.

Numis were on walking the plank from the day they messed up, but these things take time.

They don't need funds, every nomad wants AIM companies to raise finds that's their main aim for their fees. No fund raising and they show little interest.

IOF probably have $10 mill or more in the bank now. It was $7.5 mill and growing from last October. We know Y/E results will show revenues 35% plus up from 2013.

It's rumoured they have a high number of presentations coming with a number of funds. The thoughts are on the back of some good results, we have already had the good production.

Ah just thought, there was a 2nd hand big buyer rumour the other day, I wonder if Finncap have them lined up.

Excellent news today, glad to see the back of Numis. Looking forward to a well constructed rns and a broker note or two. This has to be good news.

Graham, I have noted no mention of cash at hand in any of the last five updates since the interims in September. I am therefor reducing my odds on yet another funding to 1/4.

I had a conversation with a CEO the other day and he was praising their nomad, finncap. I meant to look them up, and I certainly will now.

'FinnCap is the No. 1 Broker to AIM companies, and a top ten adviser on the LSE.'

Are we to take it that Aaron Banks is no longer willing to finance this Graham? I'm adjusting my research notes as I type Graham, this is important.

Time to spread the word of Iofina's turnaround story to different/more ears

Yes, I'd noticed that, too. Let's hope the next set of announcements have a more significant upward effect on the share price than what we've had to date.

At least I no longer fear that the next RNS is going to result in an share price crash! After all, how low can we go? (Ok. Ok. I know that the answer to that is that we can go to zero - but you know what I'm getting at!)

Raggett & Rolls, eh? You do know what these guys do don't you? They're not research analysts! The question is, how much will be raised Graham?

It has been heavily rumoured for some time that Numis would be dumped after their performance.

It's hardly something we can post on here though, for them to know what was going to happen.

That happened re Mirabaud, they read it here first. :-) I recall the fun and games at the time.

A mini "yippee" from me this morning, that was pleasing to read.

Robo,
Yes, slowly being the key word. I expect after results we might well get a nice fat broker target from fincap, the lack of broker updates has been pretty appalling, but perhaps we're now ready to talk about our expansion plans.
Indicates Strategy Update alongside results, a trigger point for share reaction?

The chart is telling the story, since mid-Dec, higher lows, it's slowly curving up, wonder if it's a bowl formation in the making?
