05/5/2024 10:11 | Also define diluted. Without adding at the open offer, you still pretty much own the same percentage of the market cap. | goodgrief
05/5/2024 10:00 | Regardless of how we feel about being diluted, the Times is right that raising £50+mn in this market is no mean feat. Add to that the subscription was over subscribed. There's a lot of serious money in the company now. I hope IES fulfils their plan. I might even get beyond breakeven. | mikemine1
05/5/2024 08:24 | Excellent publicity, well spotted docGreg. Hopefully we will see some movement shortly. | vatnabrekk
05/5/2024 07:59 | hxxps://www.thetimes Some damn good publicity | doctorbgreg
03/5/2024 15:15 | 😂😂 As gbcol.says not much will.happen now until its finalised. There's no buyers because you can buy 3 for 20 at 23 p..so nobody will want to pay a premium or much of a premium knowing post close anything significantly higher can be sold into for a profit . Get a better idea of market sentiment after and also when these supposed contracts progress..maybe ...have a nice weekend yump. Sorry for the chump that was childish just a different view . | megaman2
03/5/2024 14:34 | And I do not kindly to the denigration of my revered guru if you don't mind. Please desist. | kemche
03/5/2024 14:33 | I suspect some will become available at sub 23p in the coming days and weeks. But that is only a suspicion mind. A guess at most. An idle notion if that. A mere whim. | kemche
03/5/2024 14:23 | Following a couple of pints of Peroni and some conversation down the pub not to mention all the enlightening arguments from bulls and bears on this board I got to thinking. Why is the share price sat at 23p if this funding is a done deal? It doesn't make sense to me if the future is so rosy. Why are there no buyers reacting to the news? Maybe they are just too battered down to take the risk? Anyway, the Peroni said tell them to screw their measly open offer and un dilute yourself in the market. So I doubled my position. Let's see how this pans out. GLA | indiestu
03/5/2024 14:06 | Megaman Well I’ve also got a degree in Chemistry and have run several startups, so na na ni na na ! | yump
03/5/2024 13:53 | Unfortunately we’ve now got to wait until the 22 May when the placing and OO gets validated at the GM. Nothing much is going to happen in the meantime. I’m hoping they don’t release any positive news on orders or the like until after that as it won’t have much affect on share price until this has all gone through. Then once we hit 22 May the newsflow can commence, the massive orders can roll in and it will be happy days. | gbcol
03/5/2024 12:16 | Have a great day guys. I'm signing off for the week. It's been fun. Finally some good news from TGP this morning. | indiestu
03/5/2024 12:10 | Yump I'm still baffled . To be honest & he keeps posting the same posts with zero explanation . I spent plenty of time reading the post for your info and couldny make head nor tail of it and how its relevant I'm a graduate in chemistry and worked in finance in the city .I'm not saying I'm a genius but I didnt jump to any banal conclusions as you say . It made no sense at all to post this and more than once . & If you took the time to read my post instead of jumping to banal conclusions you would have understood that this guru kenche refers to got it completely wrong years back ...probably went over your head ..chump | megaman2
03/5/2024 12:08 | Indiestu, to say you are overthinking this is understatement of the year. The type of behaviour that you are referencing doesn't make sense given the placing discount, nevermind the huge size of the placing. If you want an example of a boiler room placing then look at something like RUA Life Sciences - pumped the share price to 60p and then placed at 10p. Nothing of the sort happened here, they even flagged that the tier 1 investor was going to come in. Schroders have taken £7.3m of the placing, UKIB £28m, that leaves £21m unaccounted for at present. Admission of shares doesn't take place until 24th May, so no TR1's will land until after that date. Just to repeat once more, a £56m fundraise in the current UK market is spectacular. If PI's want to buy on the open market then there are shares available at 23.4p right now. Once orders start to land I highly doubt there will be anything available under 30p. | 74tom
03/5/2024 11:44 | Of course they want PI's to buy in the market so the placing shares can be offloaded at a quick profit to the big players who were prepared to take the risk. It was probably a condition of the book build that they only offered PI's such a tiny piece of the cake. It's disgusting. | indiestu
03/5/2024 11:35 | Taking that a step further now I have completely wound myself up. The open offer to PI's is disgraceful and another example of the little man getting shafted. 3 for 20 doesn't give you the opportunity to avoid dilution. I get there is an excess option but this is not guaranteed. It should have been 1 for 1 they could have raised more. I would imagine the majority of PI's are going to get shares to the value of a sandwich. Ie. Not worth taking up. Ownership forcibly moved to the big players. Yes I know you can buy in the market. That is not my point. | indiestu
03/5/2024 11:30 | People need to stop looking for conspiracies and plots where there aren’t any. You’ll just drive yourself mad. Ignore the history. Ignore past share price. Ask yourself whether 23p constitutes good value with good prospects of capital gains. If you think it does then take up your options, if not then don’t. For a bit of nuance you can decide whether you trust the management or not, which can help you decide. Not that anyone should care or be influenced by it but I do think it’s worth taking up the offer at 23p and I do trust the management (even if they have underperformed in recent times) but I respect others coming to different views and posting reasonable views here. | gbcol
03/5/2024 11:20 | Well that's a big chunk at 7 mil. Why didn't they announce it up front. | indiestu
03/5/2024 11:18 | Indiestu they didn’t give 32 million shares away, or indeed any. Get a grip man. | gbcol
03/5/2024 11:16 | Megaman You seem unable to take a moment to understand posts without making some sort of inaccurate judgement about the poster and/or the meaning. Kemche’s historic quote was making a technical point, at the point of a fundraise. Maybe it was not worth posting it, but to quote the current price as some sort of proof that the technical point wasn’t valid is completely irrelevant, if not banal. Calm down, take a breather ! | yump
03/5/2024 11:14 | So no other related party transactions? No other current major holder or director. They gave those away to get it over the line. | indiestu
03/5/2024 11:09 | Let's see how the share price moves in the next week or so. | vatnabrekk
03/5/2024 11:06 | To everyone Who is getting the £2.8 million in fees for the transaction .. That's a good pay day..do vsa capital.get all of that 😂 No wonder broker is full of beans Roger Over and out. | megaman2
03/5/2024 11:00 | Indiestu I think the "placing shares" clarifies it . Roger Over and out | megaman2
03/5/2024 10:56 | That says issue of shares not purchase of shares. Did Schroders pony up for them or was it a sweetener to keep them on side for the voting. | indiestu |
