18/1/2014 21:17 | Hobby, long time since you visited Invensys bulletin board. Hope all is well. So finally Invensys goes French. I held for over 10 years in order to recoup my substantial losses on Marconi. You win some and you bury some. Hobby and Donkeystone good luck in your future investments. What are the main shares you invest in these days? For me its CWC, Lloyds and Allergy Therapeutics band all three of them have caused me grief in the past. | badwood
09/1/2014 08:35 | Guessed as much there are so many RNS announcements each day it is easy to miss. Thanks for digging out the updated timetable - always best to check the company website D'oh! AO | a0148009
09/1/2014 08:24 | D'oh. Updated timetable, 20th Jan is the actual date for the demise of ISYS (see page 3). Should've been paying closer attention. | dashton42
09/1/2014 08:19 | Well, so much for that theory; ISYS still trading this morning...? | dashton42
08/1/2014 10:19 | dashton- Many thanks, I see what happened now put it in my diary a week before as an early warning but not the effective date - best laid plans of mice and men often go awry! AO | a0148009
08/1/2014 09:46 | I think that ISYS shares are cancelled on 9th Jan, and new Schneider shares trade on the same day (see page 6/7): | dashton42
08/1/2014 08:13 | Apologies, the info for last day of dealings is obviously incorrect, I don't have the date at the moment but will try an find it. AO | a0148009
30/12/2013 10:53 | Same here - could have been worse we have had some dividends and averaged down which reduced the pain, but poor performance over duration of the investment. Have a note in my diary tomorrow is the last day for dealing. AO | a0148009
24/12/2013 10:39 | Well that's me done, just sold my stock at 506p. What a dog it's been but at least I finally leave with a profit. Bit sad to say goodbye really LOL. Now to find a new home for the cash. Good luck to the rest of you who still hold... | jak1
20/12/2013 13:50 | Bloody hell 177 pages! ... Anyone read them all? (edit the url) | peterbill
26/11/2013 09:29 | Bakero, no but yeah but no but Lloyds will be the new home. The big burst of growth in the share price is over, so for me, unusually, it is about return of a divi. I already have a few. ttfn | donkeystone
26/11/2013 08:34 | to cash me cheques !! | donkeystone
26/11/2013 08:23 | I was going to stay until the end, but for no other reason than to be here at the end (having held since 2003), so have done same donkey. Sold half last week just under and half this morning just over a fiver. This morning's sale has gone into BLVN, also in SIA, TNI, TRAP, GKP (very oily!).Where else are you now / going Donkey? | bakero
25/11/2013 15:25 | Sold today, just shy of a fiver As ever £ 23/02/05 to 25/11/2013 RIP Invensys ttfn and tata to all fellow isysers who've been such fun along the way | donkeystone
13/11/2013 10:54 | I am considering selling up now and moving on . The original offer was worth around 505p and I assume that is still the case. Tempted to buy a few LLOY. | el-tel
06/11/2013 08:34 | Since most of the offer is cash I considered I could use it better elsewhere at present. Gave it a run to see if any other offer might emerge but think thats unlikely now so sold C 500. and have been spoiled for choice for alternatives so happy with decision. Best thing for me would be for the deal to fall through and I could pick them up again C300. Had a good run bought C200 so can't complain. | slogsweep
05/11/2013 20:52 | Sorry guys, I've somewhat taken my eye off the ball here as I've had these for years when they weren't worth very much (thus cheap to buy too). What's the wisest thing to do here? Just sell around £5.00 and move on to use the money wisely with other shares, or sit on them and consider one of the three options at the end of the year? | perkie
