Last chance to buy at this low price, opportunity not to be missed.

It will start rising from this point; great entry point.

Good luck guys!

It's going to be a shareholder wipeout, still you prob got 2 weeks to sell out and preserve your capital.

Good luck all

You can't really judge number of 'buys' and 'sells' with a SETS stock. This is partly because counterparties can trade directly with each other, rather than buying from, or selling to, a market maker. DMA is available even to plebs like me. For example, on a 74-75 spread, I could place a 'sell' order at 74.75, and if filled would show as a 'buy' (although it would be an AT trade rather than an O)

10:33 I just sold my 41000 shares and bought 4500 MCRO at 797p, hope to get in and out in one day with a 15% rise to pop back into IRV cheaply!! wish me luck

pure luck. up over £10,000 in this day trade, not to mention selling my IRV at 84.35

SOMETIMES IT WORKS OTHER TIMES NOT

Fewer than 0.5% of the shares in issue have changed hands today. Buys and sells roughly equal. Yet the price has fallen 10%.

This is not due to the pressure of selling. So what is going on ? If it was "someone knows something (bad)" then there would be loads of selling. But there simply isn't.

Weird ?

IRV are taking this quite close to the wire which is making investors nervous. Is there a possibility that the short term financing could be extended to buy more time for the final arrangements to be put in place?

9am announcement?

It must be dreadful news, the share price is taking a dive.
It's weird everyone knows someone at Interserve....small world.....

Jaknife, excellent post, and I guess it's plausible that £860m debt - add in the £40m from the pension shortfall.

That's £900m, oh dear, no wonder debt was 50p in the £1

As I am new to this, when you say diluted to 5p, what does that entail? the shares are 5p less? or they are worth 5p?

Good question

Worst outcome is DfE and shareholders diluted to around 5p.

Best outcome is bond holders take some of the existing assets for sale in lieu of debt, then revised debt rolled at onerous terms and IRV spends the next 10 years using most of it's EBITDA to fund interest payments
