Hi all I have just joined up but have been following the fun posts for quite a while !
I hold quite a few shares in interserve some very recent but most for many years ( ouch ) hopefully we get some positive news soon and I can sell up about half as I am generally a holder of dividend payers and we won’t be seeing that anytime soon.
I have noticed loads of small sell trades today, would that really affect today’s move ?

This has been steadily dragged down today on NO intrinsic news. Seems tight stop losses have been triggered and computer programme trading have contributed to the herd mentality. Today's irrational decline provides a superb opportunity and I shall be adding. Am expecting it to swing back tomorrow!

Problem on here is people have there own agenda and make lies up who said all interserve employees r having a meeting wednesday absolute waffle spoke to a few of my contacts within interserve ar diffrent levels of managment and was news to them keep to the facts folks and voice ur opinions yeah but please stop fabricating stories up

eodfire..exactly.....private george (and the rest) appear to be budding FDs! BS! Hedge Funds KNOW no announcement this week and having a field day! Its what they do....been saying that for weeks!
This will turn and positions reversed WHEN THEY KNOW time is up!

You have been saying £3 by year end etc. etc.
When IRV are breaching banking covenants and debt is 50p in the £1 - I'd call it ramping. What else is it?

George - I didn’t want to post again here because of the personal attacks - you refer to me as “shameless ramper” which I find uncalled for and offensive. I have disclosed my position and potential bias very clearly - and also padded my assertions with reminders that this is a risky investment, that I did not have any insider information and that I could be wrong. I’m holding and looking at this drop as a buying opportunity. Of course I am nervous too with the delay in the announcement. Today we have wiped most of the gains of last Wednesday. Perhaps the bear case will be the correct one - you’ll be wealthier and celebrate. I will congratulate you for being correct and lick my wounds. But perhaps you might be wrong - no new information has emerged (that I know of). It won’t be long before we know either way. Can I please invite you to keep the comments focused on the matter at hand and refrain from making personal attacks - it’s just not cool.

Exactly George.People should buy after restructuring. We dont know the exact terms, but it will be highly dilutive, to the benefit of bond holders. 10p sounds low but I bet it's not far off. I was expecting 20-25p previously, but 20p may now be the upper figure.

I just warned people to get out and warned them against shameless rampers like cfc1 and Aendjo.

They were trying o get more people to pile in on a dead cat bounce, guess what, anyone buying got spiked.

As Jaknife says, D4E will be done, at what price - I suggest a very low one.
Circa 10p.

If you really like Interserve, sell, then buy after restructure.

As I said Emerald will make a killing.
