Buy.at have launched in the us

Interesting how they have done it, they have recruited a newbie on the us side to join buy.at. Af sent over one of the team to the Us to start it off.
Dgm made a mess by going for outside help, will see how things play out.

Can't believe the 19p debate - I bought in at 21p well over a year ago and with weak summer sentiment last year the price was still over 25p - the floor should be 29/31 but more likely we should see a crawl up to high 30s before any weak Summer sentiment kicks in this time. That's what we got last year and the company has grown since then. It's all crystal ball stuff. The main thing is the track record of growth should continue with broadband now as common as tv and online retail growing faster than a bodybuilder on steroids.
If wealth is the transfer of money from the impatient to the patient I'd be in at 30p and holding, there's plenty more to come IMO etc

LastWish
www.LastWish.co.uk

Description:
LastWish.co.uk allows users to write their own fully legal Will online. Our legal team has devised all the questions they need to answer to make a fully legal Will - without the hassle of using third parties such as a solicitor.

The Will is then checked and professionally bound which involves printing onto high quality paper and bound together using an approved heated-glue binding technique.

This is a very important part of making a legal Will as an incorrectly bound Will could be rejected by the court and that would mean that you would die intestate. (Problem with simple DIY Wills) All this is carried out by a qualified UK Will writing expert and returned to the user within 48hrs.

LastWish is for residents of England & Wales only and is designed for people who want to leave a relatively simple and straight forward Will.

Orders only available online. Phone number for information only

Not sure what's going on, but the volumes are all up last week and this week on a lot of my smaller stocks. Looks like some small stock investors cheque books have come out. Even some tiddlers with little volume normally seem to have become much more active. Perhaps we're going to have a small stock year. Wouldn't it be nice if all the good ones reached p/e's that larger growth stocks have... !

(You know, looking 5 years ahead like the analysts do seems to result in p/e's of 30 for stocks growing at 10% a year).

Niggle,
"In the next six" should be added to it as well!

It is simply 10 to 20 times of the earnings for this financial year.

The company has already said that the main part of the profit will be in the second half. (By the way, does anybody know what is the EPS for the first six months?) If you also factor in the boredom of some short term investors and also summer trading sentiment in prospective, I simply will be very surprised if we see more than 38p in the next six months. Admittedly, the lower end will not happen if the market sentiment is as strong as now. But in a weak market sentiment, it could go as low as 19p. All IMHO of course.

"IMHO the trading range for IBG is 19p to 38p"

Could you post your reason for this please as 19p would represent a collapse in the share price...?

TaurusTheBear,
You could be right. As I have said IMHO the trading range for IBG is 19p to 38p in the next six months. I will be pleasantly surpised if it exceeds 38p as I am currently holding a small amount. Admittedly, it will not be a life changing situation!

nghomi,

I don't think you'll see less than 27p on IBG again unless there's a market correction. You can't have a company showing high double-digit growth on what would be a PE of about 14, according to broker estimates, which are invariably conservative. I think we're much more likely to see 40p before we see 25p.

Just my opinion, and in for the long haul, so it's smart alecs like you who have to try and time the market! :0)

So what is the trading range of IBG in the next six months in your opinion?

nghomi

nghomi,
Its very apparent that in many other small companies the same 'cautious' investors you are talking about are paying per's of 15 and upwards on this years and sometimes next years forecasts.

So with respect, I don't think your arguments are credible at all. They aren't consistent with whats actually happening in the market as a whole.

And the PEG based on historic earnings is nonsense - its a forward looking measure for goodness sake.

68steve,
Market is full of surprises! Mind you that at 19p, we are talking about PER of 10 for this financial year. It is not cheap in the eyes of many cautious investors for small cap companies. As you say the minimum share price will be probably hit by September and it could be 25p, who knows. But provided the company meets the market expectation, if it hits 19p, it will be for a very short period of time. That's the reason that I will start adding when it drops to low 20s.

19p?????Things would have to go seriously wrong if 19p was the case...25p possible if market sentiment/summer trading quiet but only time will tell...

Aleman,
Yes, you are right. If I go mytravel website, I can then modify my quote (or any other quote) for 5 people. I guess as long as I book something in the next 30 days, Henoo will get some commision from mytravel (or Airtours).

As to the share price, IMHO 30p is probably the fair value at this moment in time. My reason behind is that we will have historic PER of 20. The current growth rate is only 26% so we have PEG of 0.75. The company still have to sort out a few serious challenges including transfroming itself from a sub-10 million pounds revenue company to a multi-10 millions pound revenue company. I will not be surprised to see a trading range of 19p to 38p in the next six months. I am looking into adding serious amount of shares if it hits low 20s due to the boredom of some short term traders. At 29p per share in two years time, we will be talking about a historic PER of 10 for a company which will then be growing in excess of 50% per annum! We will probably see a significant re-rating sometime in the next 2 years time but IMO it will not be in the next six months.
