11/2/2008 10:33 | As an investor in ibg, I have waited 3 years for this "fastest growing UK affiliate network company" (or some such often repeated guff in their RNS's) to take the value of my shares from 12.5p to 8.75p - in fact less if I want to sell in size. So, yes, I'm just oozing respect for Maz's performance. | coffeelito
11/2/2008 05:55 | coffee As much as I agree Maz isnt capable of taking ibg to the next level, alone, he sould get some respect, bringing ibg to where it is now. | hirschnathan
10/2/2008 21:08 | And good riddance to it ! Let's hope the new company marks a new start. I hope Maz will never attempt to be top dog at a company again, just stick to what he can do behind the scenes. PS - Isn't it Thursday, Feb 14th? | coffeelito
10/2/2008 17:08 | Well ibg is history on Tuesday | hirschnathan
10/2/2008 15:40 | Can't help thinking that their affiliate business has been treading water since last summer, too busy selling up then deciding not to and then doing it anyway once the share price had dropped. I expect turnover has grown due to the continuing increase in online spending, but personally I think they should have been trying to attract more and bigger merchants (maybe offer an enhanced service for a higher fee, recruit account managers from rivals etc...) Hopefully once the takeover is complete they will have the time (and the direction from new management) to move things on again. | andnmand
10/2/2008 13:39 | thanks andnmand. What do you make of these latest figures? | coffeelito

10/2/2008 12:53 | Sorry guys, been neglecting the stats lately. Hirsch (post 3604), no I don't work for ibg, if I did I think I would have been sacked for telling the management what I think of the way they have knackered up my investment!! Don't get me wrong I think in the end I will get a reasonable price for the TMN shares but not in the timescales I was originally hoping for with IBG and the chain of events that got us to this position are just inexcusable. 08/2/2008 13:17 | Since there is alot of whitelabel data being used by third parties, its impossible to know who is/isnt using it | hirschnathan
08/2/2008 10:19 | Cheers Hirsch Maybe the holidaywatchdog team could persuade tripadvisor to use AF! | the analyst
08/2/2008 08:55 | holidaywatchdog (the biggest holiday review site) has been bought by tripadvisor, holidaywatchdog have all their links with afuture. Tripadvisor, say they are not going to change things | hirschnathan

06/2/2008 16:37 | buy.at certainly have some big merchants, which must have appealed to AOL "buy.at's clients include leading UK brands such as 3 mobile, AA, Barclays, Butlins, Carphone Warehouse, Capital One, Egg, John Lewis, Lloyds TSB, Lombard Direct, LX Direct, M&S, ntl, Portland, Powergen, Scottish Power, Sky, T-mobile and Virgin." | the analyst
06/2/2008 16:12 | undisclosed means undislosed. The private equity company that bought it and sol it are happy with a quick turn around, no shareholders to please, even if they got a 10% return, it would be a good move. | hirschnathan
06/2/2008 13:07 | Buy.at was takenover by AOL (advertising.com) yesterday for an undisclosed sum. Shows that there is an appetite for affiliate marketing. | baheid101
06/2/2008 11:13 | Sad to see this share ending its life on such a low note,With the woes at IPH and the general market conditions its only to be expected I suppose. Its nearly hit the level where I bought over 1% over 3 years ago so I aint selling at this level | kenatbabken
04/2/2008 19:30 | Just looking back in to see how things have developed. Sorry to see things have drifted further for those left in. I thought a few of you might be interested that BLNX look set to launch their transaction hijacker (displays optional cheaper supplier just before execution of a sale) in April-June ahead of schedule. It is very speculative. Could be big but enormous competition and riddled with potential for software glitches, I would imagine. Good luck with TMN. | aleman
29/1/2008 17:45 | Valustar Valentines day is the date the lights go out!! The free float in TMN shares will be 37.5m, Obviously more when the lock in agreements run out | kenatbabken
29/1/2008 14:51 | Just the spread has widened a little nothing to get excited about. When does IBG cease to be quoted and we have TMN shares instead | valustar1
29/1/2008 14:49 | Whay has the offer gone up? | niggle |
