This 'old holder' is still in with about 1%. I have sold small slices of my holding on previous spikes but have no inclination to sell any more at these levels. And I would be surprised if other old holders did either because we have had plently of chances to sell at higher levels than currently in the past at times when IBG was more risky than it now looks. The AF growth story is looking well established and should continue through a combination of increasing market size, increased market share (eg wins from DGM which is looking grim) and movement into new geographical markets. My only real gripe is the online retail which contributes very little to earnings, takes a lot of management time and has now been scheduled for another 'restructuring'. I think they should just sell it and focus on the advertising side.

BTW - whatever happened to LRR? I cannot find a recent post from him. I cannot believe he has sold out of IBG.

It`s been a while in coming but get the feeling IBG are starting to get the recognition they deserve, onwards and upwards...

Old holders will always be wanting to sell into strength. The encouraging thing about the current trading pattern is to see the stock rising after the results - in contrast to the all too common pattern in small cos of rises before results, followed by profit taking.

Tomorrow should be another good day, with one large T-trade sell not being nearly enough to halt the stock moving up. Perhaps those who need to sell have largely taken their profits from IBG in the current tax year, or maybe they, like me, see a share which remains substantially under-valued for the growth it offers. The current share price is almost exactly where it was a year ago, and imo IBG share values will continue to grow strongly in the next couple of years, when the (by then sizable) company will be taken out at a further premium. so selling makes no sense unless people want to use up their CGT allowance. I'd rather wait for the future growth in value and benefit from IBG's taper relief as an AIM stock. With the quality of management, the strategic position in rapidly growing markets, and the range of irons that IBG currently has in various fires, this is as near as you can get to a stock you can lock away and forget about.

Darned if I can remember when Fidelity bought into ASC or what its market cap was? We all know what happened then....the only way was up! I`d have thought IBG would make a sound investment for FID :-0

hirschnathan -if the continual selling is preventing IBG moving forward, my guess is that the 4p crowd are chipping away. Where else is the stock coming from? However-Sooner than lately this will have to dry up and then IBG should break away.

I think he was just suggesting taken some profit, hirsch. There won't be many have taken none, I would imagine. LB seems to be buying more, mind, and Ken when he is not selling to satisfy institutional demand. I think lrr has gone away to resist the temptation.

Now level two is moving WINS on the move-

The three year chart is interesting-IBG is moving up in orderly fashion. Once the "I loaded up at under 4p" crowd have finished profit taking, IBG could seriously spike higher...

The UK doesn't have a huge number of internet success stories and these must come to the attention of a wider share owning audience soon imho.

Like willie says it now needs institutions to buy and hold to sustain the
upward momentum or an end to the large sells would help

Must be a whopper of a sell or they are trying to hold it back for Instis...This time last year the share price would of been up at least 4p on all this buying...

Thought you were in New Zealand Taurus. Going back to Malaysia for a month next year. Might be looking for a holiday home if the shares continue to do well. (need to buy a place there before the TV progs start publicising it as a place to buy a holiday home).

PS second question any Malaysian asks you (after ascertaining you're from England) is always : What football team do you support ?

Even came across a new pub in Malaysia last week called "LA Galaxy". Can you imagine one called "Affiliate Future"? ;0)

When as many people in the world have heard of IBG, as currently recognise who Beckham is, we'll all retire :-)

I just hope the market cap of IBG next year isn't what Mrs Beckham will be paid for her "singing".

DiogenesJ,

The MMs are under pressure now with a flurry of trades in the last hour or so...I predict a further move shortly as they will close out their earlier treeshake before regrouping at a higher price. All imho of course. Small steps soon add up.
