I think these would have been posting a decent 'ahead' statement had it not been for the snow imo.

Was quite busy this afternoon but looking at the numbers now I have time:

H1 had 56.5m sales.

H2 last year saw sales of £56m. If sales in H2 are up 8.6% then they have done £61m sales in H2 - that's £117m as you say Foxman. Forecasts are for £114.3m so looks like they are slightly ahead indeed.

Why companies can't just spell it out in a statement like that beats me.

Anyway, that's a decent turn out imo.

Took a few off the table today - had far too many and think I can find a better home for my money elsewhere. Still holding a fair chunk tho'.

Watch it fly to 250p now.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I make the revenue for this year £117.2m. Last year was £103.3m, a 53 week year uplifted, by 13.5%.

That trading statement from IDS looks about inline imo. Wish they'd have given actually sales numbers but on percentages total sales look like they are £112m compared to forecasts of £113m. No mention re Christmas sales but that must have affected them so to be more or less on forecasts with Christmas like that looks decent imo.

Was hoping they might beat perhaps but probably too much to ask with a Christmas like that.

Still engaged in trying to sell the co too.

The bad weather could well have had a beneficial effect with buyers online or sitting watching Ideal shopping on TV.

perhaps a few selling because NXT said the late part of Christmas punters were going to the shops for fear the deliveries wouldn't get to them by Christmas.

Don't see how you can sell on the basis of that just a two week period 'might' be a tad weak when it's a one off too - investors make allowances going fwd imo.

Anyway - trading statement soon so we'll see.
