23/3/2010 12:08 | H1 sales are currently up 17.5%. H1 last year had £47.4m sales. H2 last year had £55.9m sales. H1 this year is on course for 55.5m at the current rate (ie 17.5% higher) and as margins have improved throughout H2 then margins in H1 should be higer than H2 the year gone. On that basis the 11.2p eps done in H2 should be bettered in H1 this year imo. Look well on course to do 25p eps this year imo, without any acquisition. CR | cockneyrebel
23/3/2010 12:01 | Yep, my broker is looking out for broker notes for me. Saw this on Dow Jones: LONDON (Dow Jones)--U.K. home shopping channel retailer Ideal Shopping Direct PLC (IDS.LN) Tuesday said a move in to pet products is among possibilities for its acquisition strategy this year. The firm is on the look out for deals that will take it in to new markets, and Chief Executive Mike Hancox said the firm's television channel was ideal for demonstrating pet products. "We're looking at additional strands to our crafts business, such as cake decorating and jewelry, but pets could be a strand," he told Dow Jones Newswires Tuesday. "Our customers, who are older, tend to have pets and we will be testing in that area. A lot of pet products need explaining. When they're in a box on the shelf you don't always know what they are and we can bring them to life on TV," he said. Ideal Shopping Direct's main channel is Ideal World, which is broadcast on Sky, Virgin Media and Freeview. "TV would be a great way of demonstrating to people how to use some sort of pet feeding system or brush for dogs," Hancox added. 23/3/2010 10:44 | Indeed CR No doubt you will keep an eye out for these notes when they are out? EPS of about 25p you think? Also, I particularly like this from todays statement :- The scale of the business turnaround since 2008 has been "SIGNIFICANT" and the management team are "EXCITED" about the growth prospects for the Company. 4BF | 4bidnforest

23/3/2010 08:08 | 4p loss in H1 - work it out - 7p+ eps for the year means over 11p eps in H2. What's the PE? I bet it's 6 or less and highly geared earnings growth of 200% this year. CR | cockneyrebel
23/3/2010 08:05 | You know darn well how well these have done Frauddy - and you've been a kolder in the past. The divi will be reinstated this year. These have just done 11p+ eps in the second half - they are on course to do 25p+ eps this year and you know it. I've been buying even if the rest of market is still asleep. 25% of the mkt cap in cash too! Go swivel Frauddy! CR | cockneyrebel
23/3/2010 07:23 | You must be reading the wrong results Freddy! | bigbigdave
23/3/2010 07:20 | another crookney crook-up, and with the divi ditched, another share where the shareholders are expected to live in zilch, unlike the directors - how long would your Coypu last if you only fed them promises ? | ydderf
