22/12/2009 13:44 | cheers CR...as i expected this looks well cheap at current levels based upon them meeting expectations... | pre
22/12/2009 13:39 | I've seen the note now, pretty upbeat and - Oriel say they are confident the co will be able to meet their £1m pbt (2.2p eps) for the year. Expects them to get back to their 2007 14p+ eps with sales growing and margins up a lot. CR | cockneyrebel

22/12/2009 12:00 | Looks like IDS is moving up due to Oriel upgrading yesterday :-) Now forecasting 2.2p eps for the year gone - which will be the profit IDS were hoping for. 8.9p now forecast for the coming year - that's a big leap - they were forecasting like the other 2 brokers from memory - -3p to -4.5p. If that's a 12p upgrade that's pretty sweet and I bet they'll beat that 8.9p by some way. 14.6p now forecast for 2011. Will do a bit more digging to see if I can find wjat they say/ CR | cockneyrebel
22/12/2009 11:17 | Clear breakout - no resistance till 165p now. Let's get ready to rumble :-) CR | cockneyrebel
22/12/2009 11:16 | Agreed, looking very good for further rises. | bigbigdave
22/12/2009 11:13 | ....looking very bullish here...threatening to break past £1.30...this could increase rapidly from here imo.. | pre
21/12/2009 20:49 | ...indeed,breakout confirmed....reckon +£1.70 here..trading ahead of mkt expectations....we should get there pretty soon imo...even quicker if directors start pcking up more stock. | pre
21/12/2009 20:41 | Confirmed breakout at the close. Where's this going on this leg? 160p +? Got a gut feeling IDS might be one to hold for some time yet. | bigbigdave
21/12/2009 12:29 | well there's someone in the know possibly or sees the significant upside potential here...bodes well imo.. | pre
21/12/2009 12:26 | Someone's just paid 123p for 15K CR | cockneyrebel
21/12/2009 11:00 | indeed CR....bodes very well here....big upside from here on next update....wouldn't surprise me to see directors buying stock too... | pre
21/12/2009 10:34 | Wgat a star today - reckon the buyers are getting in ahead of the next t/s in Jan. CR | cockneyrebel
21/12/2009 09:56 | ...very upbeat t/s...results expected to exceed mkt expectations....brea | pre
18/12/2009 17:59 | iam afraid its t1ps | monkeymonkey
18/12/2009 17:59 | Tipped in t1ps today. | someuwin
18/12/2009 16:32 | I have heard it has been tipped somewhere today. Will try and find out where etc over weekend! | topinfo
18/12/2009 16:11 | ...ummmm interesting 30k and 71k buys ....someone confident:-) | pre
17/12/2009 16:18 | indeed..this is a significant statement imo...a more and more peopel move to direct shopping and the internet, this bodes well for IDS..i can see this being re-rated...quality stock imo.. | pre
17/12/2009 15:36 | No, don't find it strange. The directors bought a load of shares a little while ago. To come out now and say they are well ahead looks a bit iffy. They know where they are imo - next statement will be the bell ringer imo. Likely candidate for a tip in the press tomorrow imo. CR | cockneyrebel
17/12/2009 13:27 | Does anyone think it a little unusual that they are reporting today .. 17 december for sales to the period ending 22 november ... a full 25 days in arrears are their systems so badly lagging that they cannot update on sales for the period to say upto week-end john lewis releases weekly figures ... | bigboyo
17/12/2009 12:10 | Bought back in today - traded out when they looked like they skipped the trading statement but today's is upbeat - think they'll be in profit for the year which will mean big upgrades going fwd imo. CR | cockneyrebel
17/12/2009 08:26 | well done IDS...nice surprise results are expected to be ahead of market expectations...+170p here next target: The Board is pleased to report that trading since the last statement has been ahead of internal forecasts. As a result the Board feels confident that the year end outcome will be ahead of the current consensus market forecast and that positive progress is being made towards profitability at the full year. | pre
17/12/2009 07:19 | Excellent trading update and without the busy last 17 days of the year. Must be well ahead. | bigbigdave
23/11/2009 18:02 | I think they have skipped the trading statement they had last year in early Nov. I can't remember what I read or where but it sounded like the next updaate would be the Jan t/s. Probably why it's been a bit weak - think a few that bought for that statement have perhaps sold a few. CR | cockneyrebel |
