It is not only low oil prices that has boosted the CoThey Co is becoming leaner workforce , due to outsourcing as well - sad to sayI do not see much higher oil prices than $50 max in the future IAG should remain profitable for the foreseeable future.Only major geopolitical issues can stop the flight upwards

Just always end up on the wrong side of the trade. What a hell of a difference it makes when the currency difference is not in your favour.Kerosene in dollars,IAG annual figures in Euros.Ouch.I've just turned eurosceptic! It also hacks me off that Willie didn't do his share buy-backs today to help support the share drop from shorters, instead of when the shares were mid reporting season.

I admire your optimism my friend, but i could paint you an alternative scenario of oil prices collapsing again soon and then the share price not budging because the fear is demand for flying anywhere is going to slow.I like your prognosis better tho!

This isn't the top of the cycle as the fuel hedging going out is approx $500 per mt in q1 17 compared to $700 per mt now
