Dealing situation says it all - bid for 250,000 but offered only in 5,000. For sure somebody has got a handle on forthcoming figures, and yet recent trading statement was short on exuberance. So what are the buyers looking for - another acquisition, or could it be a resumption of dividend payments ( David Norgrove permitting! ), or perhaps the major shareholders are planning to steal this away from us before everybody wakes up to the recovery that has taken place. Let´s face it, with a market cap of 20 million, and half of that in cash, we are quite vulnerable. Even though I bought much lower down I have to say that I would not be impressed with a bid at say 25p.

Internet position says it all - bid for 250,000 but only offered in 25,000. There is a very determined buyer out there. He stood his ground throughout last week´s carnage and now he is beginning to force the issue. Right now there are not many punters prepared to take a punt in front of figures so perhaps we should assume that this buyer already knows the numbers. I have a sneaky feeling that we are in for some good news on the 23rd!!!

Just who is your friend using as a broker? I had absolutely no problem buying 100,000 last week and again earlier this week. Yes, the normal offer is limited in size, but by paying a little more you can always find a jobber who will take on the risk. Can only assume that your friend is trying to deal via some internet based service, in which case he will have to bear in mind that in life you get what you pay for. A conventional broking relationship may initially seem more expensive, but if you are dealing in limited marketability stocks you will soon find that the extra cost can quickly be recovered in terms of a superior performance.

If size is any more than the 2000 nms, i think they can basically do as they please ! (or at least, it seems that way)

Again today I know of persons trying to buy this co. at 17,50p . Why is it that the market makers show 16,75-17,25 when you don't even get filled at 17,50?.
Is it legal to lie like that to the market?

it's a strange one - but hopefully less strange to investors after the results.

Nice to see a bit more buying today.
