23/3/2007 15:25 | I believe the company have good reason to expect a great H2. At this time of year they would have a pretty precise view on the order uptake, as most of the autum sales are booked imo. | multiplural
23/3/2007 12:30 | 400k sells today and only off 1p, must be a buyer out there too imo CR | cockneyrebel
23/3/2007 11:58 | Yep, weaker H1 is the bummer but not a disaster. But great assets here so it isn't that bad imo. What we need now is a bit more director buying and newsflow hopefully. I'm happy to hold. CR | cockneyrebel
23/3/2007 09:47 | But, they have announced a weak H1, and realistically, no management can see further than that in terms of orders etc, So you are relying on there expectation that H2 will out perform. Why should H2 outperform H1 ? Serious Question. | fft
23/3/2007 08:48 | Can't help thinking this is not the place to be selling. share price massively underpinned by TBV and a management team that has been successfully addressing the business issues faced by IAG. Cheers, Martin | shanklin
23/3/2007 08:40 | And the share price has been running ahead recently, so all things considered I would not be surprised to see it fall back a bit now. Longer term though we still have the speculative possibility of corporate action given that such a large tranche of the share capital is vested in just two parties. | mesquida
23/3/2007 07:58 | Weaker H1 though is a bit of a bummer. | wjccghcc
23/3/2007 07:26 | 600K share buyback. Pensions no longer a major issue. 60% increase in branded sales 8p cash per share really good stuff | matt9991
23/3/2007 07:23 | And expectation for a better 2007, topped with a sharebuyback scheme. Not bad at all. | multiplural
23/3/2007 07:16 | Well that is some turn around for the books. Net assets of 17p a share. That is a fantastic achievment. | hybrasil
22/3/2007 16:36 | well...thats it...not as much a pullback as I thought on this run up...now is it "sell the news" tomorrow regardless??...see you in the morn...or about 10.30ish for me ;-). Good luck K | kalmar
21/3/2007 10:45 | Just a snippet from Ted Bakers results today. "Licence income Ted Baker operates two types of licences: territorial licences covering North America, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and New Zealand; and product licences covering lingerie, eyewear, perfume & fragrance, watches and footwear. Licence income for the year was up 14.3% to £4.0m (2006: £3.5m) and we were particularly pleased with the performances of our perfume and fragrance licensees and of our footwear licencee who both delivered above average growth. Our other product and territorial licensees continue to perform in line with our expectations." Nothing in there to get excited about either way. | arthur_lame_stocks
21/3/2007 09:47 | only 4 to go now :) | jamesw2000
20/3/2007 17:51 | cr I see you have this as one of your doublers for 2007. I think 38p may be a tad optimistic but I am hopeful that we will see 25p | hybrasil
20/3/2007 08:27 | no stock around again today | hybrasil
19/3/2007 16:00 | mesquida the last thing I want mesquida is a special dividend. I pay income tax on it. If they want to buy back some shares then thats all right with me. | hybrasil
19/3/2007 14:31 | the move continues...just a few days away now ;-) | kalmar
15/3/2007 21:54 | I take it that nobody is that interested in a special dividend then!!!! | mesquida
14/3/2007 19:45 | quite a nice few buys today on a weak day - very pleasing. Nice breakout confirmation too. CR | cockneyrebel
14/3/2007 19:40 | One further thought subsequent to my posting numbered 228 when I speculated that buyers might be looking for a resumption of dividend payments ( David Norgrove permitting ) and that is the possibility that we could still see a special dividend given that the pension deficit is now no longer a bone of contention. After all, since David Norgrove first started ( rightly or wrongly ) to flex his muscles we have had a combination of a. special top up payment into the fund b. large scale transfer of members out of the fund c. general increase in gilt yields - all of which has resulted in a fund which now has a deficit of only 1 million or so. Hey presto, if the Company now wants to give us back some of our money ( and in company law it is in fact our money ) then there is sod all that David Norgrove can do about it! Me thinks that this one is headed higher with or without a bid! | mesquida
14/3/2007 09:09 | the 25k marked by advfn as a sell is in fact my buy!! | hybrasil
14/3/2007 08:29 | Well, it's moving on up... | jakleeds
14/3/2007 07:50 | This is the day to try it, hybrasil. Market makers will not be expecting any buyers this morning. Could be an interesting test. If it ends higher today then I am going to start thinking that there is more to this move than simple sniffy buying in front of the results. Shame, because I do think that if a bid comes in at at 25p then we will be shortchanged, but that is what it is beginning to look like to me! | mesquida
13/3/2007 20:42 | I eventually got some stock but not without a great deal of difficulty. Am going to try and buy again tomorrow | hybrasil |
