17/10/2006 20:25 | It's coming back to me: isn't Zoar Invest the investment vehicle of the Danish investor Ib Sonderby? | diogenesj
17/10/2006 20:08 | No indeed, mesquida. If Zoar get together with P. Gyllenhammar, they can do what they like with the company or take it over at a price of their choosing. | diogenesj
17/10/2006 20:07 | will see how she goes, and keep buying if it goes up... toes will sufice for now :-) | leeson31
17/10/2006 20:03 | Why stop at yer toes, go for an arm and a leg! | arthur_lame_stocks
17/10/2006 19:58 | I like the chart on this stock. 105 mill shs in isue, mcap 17mill.... might dip me toes tmrw... | leeson31
17/10/2006 19:52 | Clearly this is not the sort of change envisaged by Carol Duncumb when she said recently that it was unusual for half of the equity to be in the hands of just three investors and this was a situation that she expected to change over the next six months!!!! | mesquida
17/10/2006 16:38 | It is significant imo, M, because it raises their holding to 29.3%, very close to the absolute maximum (30%) that you can hold without being forced to make a bid. This is a strategic stake, and my guess is that they have a strategy. However, they are obviously in no great hurry about it. | diogenesj
17/10/2006 16:00 | It was not a significant increase. The latest report had 29,9 mill shares. As you have to report every time you cross a full percentage, todays increase could be as low as 450k shares. Anyway very good to see support from the large shareholders | multiplural
17/10/2006 15:41 | They are clearly a Danish investment fund of some kind, and have been in Sherwood/Intimas for some time. They raised their holding to 24.29% in 2002: Today's increase looks very significant. I'd guess they have a plan. Who are the 'parties related to them', I wonder? | diogenesj
17/10/2006 15:01 | I think they´re something to do with a Danish Bank. | arthur_lame_stocks
17/10/2006 14:43 | I took a google on Zoar Invest , it gave me 29.200 links in no time, so surely it is no cover name | multiplural
17/10/2006 14:34 | Looks like a cover name as I can't find anything on the Internet about them. CR | cockneyrebel
17/10/2006 14:32 | Anyone know anything more about Zoar who have just upped their stake to over 29%? Are IAG in for a bid? that cash must look attractive imo. CR | cockneyrebel
10/10/2006 14:39 | hybrasil 50k electronically for such a tiny capitalised company is quite unusual. How many did you expect to pick up by this method? | jtjh
09/10/2006 07:12 | and again we are in a situation where there are not a lot of shares around. I went to buy this am and there are only 50k available electronically. | hybrasil
08/10/2006 10:27 | The get a small mention in the Express today under the title "Bra War Looms". | arthur_lame_stocks
05/10/2006 12:04 | The last thing they need is cash. They have wads of it | hybrasil
05/10/2006 10:16 | Good summary Hybrasil . The stock is very tightly held and trades in a vacuum most of the time . I expect them to re-organize the share capital in due course , raise some money in order to really push the business ahead . Such a move would be very well received and would give the high quality board the fire power they need and deserve . | helllv
05/10/2006 08:36 | Not yet, but for sure the trades will be reported later in the day. From your comments I assume that you are not au fait withn the fairly complex rules concerning trade reporting - it is worth mugging up on because otherwise you could be seriously misled by ADVFN´s analysis of buys/sales. For instance, in this case your friend bought at 16.5p but the trades will not be reported until later by which time the bid price ( as distinct to the offer price ) might be 16.5p, thus fooling the ADVFN computer into identifying the trade as a sale! | mesquida
05/10/2006 08:32 | well done multi you will see the trades later they are all delayed | hybrasil
05/10/2006 08:27 | Thanks for the input. Apparently my friend got 2x25.000 this morning at 16,50. The funny thing is that on the systems I have, incl.advfn, no trades are shown. | multiplural
05/10/2006 07:42 | Just bought 125k electronically | hybrasil
05/10/2006 07:31 | Tried to buy some electronically only 2.5k available online. | hybrasil
05/10/2006 06:45 | helllv There isnt much point in discussing the business if you cant get to own some of it! As I see it the new chairman is driven, has put his money where his mouth is, and is giving the chief executive a full reign to develope this into a brand led business. Look at the rns on brands from charnos to Ted baker to caprice to lepel. They have tons of cash to make a go of it whether by acquisition or expansion. In 3 years time this could be very jammy indeed. | hybrasil
05/10/2006 06:25 | Does anyone ever discuss the business on these threads ? There is plenty to discuss here and not worry about whether a particular bargain was a sale or a purchase -- this is very low ticket stuff . If you wish to make money , study what the company is up to . | helllv |
