I know IAG down on a lot of technicals, because of MSCI tracker funds. But EasyJet p.e 14, IAG p.e 6.3Oh well has Benjamin Graham said worlds best investor the market short term is a voting machine, but in the end it's a weighing machine, in other words fundamentals will come through.

Holding steady, are the 45m forced sellers out. Someone said they had 10 days from 26th Feb.

toon...for someone who would 'like to see them do well' , you have a funny way of demonstrating it.

Maybe you should buy shares in Lufthansa if you do not think BA are as good as others.
Personally I think the product could do with some improvement, including the cabin but I don't think anyone can touch BA cabin crew (LH), including Delta .

First finish blue since 26th Feb when MSCI made their announcement. Down 16% in 7 trading days, oversold.I would guess sellers out the way now.45m shares overhang was a lot.Just need a respected analyst to have a Buy recommendation and IAG would be back over 600p easily on those superb figures.

m1k3y1 - I've not got a downer (as you say) on BA, personally I'd like to see them do well. What I'll not accept is comments about BA being 'Kings' of transatlantic airways which is b*ll, or past performance which is not a guide to the future. IAG has very good competition but a number of people on this forum fail to even mention them. Lufthansa being one.

Avios massive loyalty base building. I have two first class return tickets to New York, 148,000 plus companion voucher. Clever any empty seats, they fill because avios customers pay the tax. Everyone happy.

Geees toon, have you got a downer on BA or what.
The fact that IAG and BA are making so much money is because people book with them and they are happy to pay the prices charged.

So just to clarify your comment m1k3y1 when people look to book flights they make their decision on BA's bottom line and how much money they are making?

agreed Toon , that moto "worlds favourite airline...." got a bit tired over the years , which is why they don't use it anymore.
At the end of the day though, it is only about the bottom line and the profits speak for themselves..

Monty - I thought you had filtered me many years ago....

m1k3y1 - look at the article again, Alitalia is Number 10, BA is number 3 - but they are not 'Kings' as Monty had pointed out.

Just as a reminder BA used ram down our throats the moto "worlds favourite airline....". My, my how times have changed!

I don't think that IAG are too worried about these surveys anymore, it's all about the bottom line .

Will they close blue, that would be positive. Funds normally sell the last hour of trade. See if these boys cleared out yet.
