toon...for someone who would 'like to see them do well' , you have a funny way of demonstrating it.

Maybe you should buy shares in Lufthansa if you do not think BA are as good as others.
Personally I think the product could do with some improvement, including the cabin but I don't think anyone can touch BA cabin crew (LH), including Delta .

First finish blue since 26th Feb when MSCI made their announcement. Down 16% in 7 trading days, oversold.I would guess sellers out the way now.45m shares overhang was a lot.Just need a respected analyst to have a Buy recommendation and IAG would be back over 600p easily on those superb figures.

m1k3y1 - I've not got a downer (as you say) on BA, personally I'd like to see them do well. What I'll not accept is comments about BA being 'Kings' of transatlantic airways which is b*ll, or past performance which is not a guide to the future. IAG has very good competition but a number of people on this forum fail to even mention them. Lufthansa being one.

Avios massive loyalty base building. I have two first class return tickets to New York, 148,000 plus companion voucher. Clever any empty seats, they fill because avios customers pay the tax. Everyone happy.

The fact that IAG and BA are making so much money is because people book with them and they are happy to pay the prices charged.
