16% down (not checked montys figures lol) in 7 days is irrational.Traders rule the market though so just gotta accept it and accept these gifts when they come.History tells us that when IAG moves (up or down) it moves fast!

but all they have done neil, is say that next years free cash flow won't be as good as this years and this years was excellent.
Unless I am missing something, I really don't understand the drop. Certainly not of this magnitude.
Have bought more, as I believe this will do well over the next 1-3 years and enjoy the dividends meanwhile.

Today's fall is down to IAG reinstating their position with regards to 2019 cash flow.

Down 16% in 7 days, wow on record profit and revenue and a bumper dividend. Those MSCI trackers have to sell though.

I know you said a long time to wait, but 51.5c payed in July, then next one paid in November which was 14.50c last time. Total for year should be then 66c to 68c.

What I like they go ex and pay 4 days later in July, works out roughly 36p net if you don't claim the tax back, thats 5% until July.

I would look at when delivery of the 777-9 is as it may not be this financial year so the impact could be carried forward.

not for any good reason as far as I am concerned Alphorn.
I think Brexit is causing more chaos than anything and frankly, they need to get it sorted , one way or another.

Yes from record profits and revenue, 50.5c dividend payed in July. A tsunami of negative news suddenly hits the share price, bears paradise at the moment.

LONDON (Agefi-Dow Jones) - Airline International Consolidated Airlines Group overhauled this week-end the confusion caused by the presentation last week of its projections for 2019. IAG says now predict "a decline in cash flow available in 2019 compared to 2018 based on the forecast of a similar operating profit this year to that of 2018 ". This forecast implies an increase in net capital expenditure to 2.6 billion-2.7 billion euros, compared to 2.2 billion euros last year. In a conference call with analysts, IAG had hinted that free cash flow would increase. The IAG action loses 3.2%, at 584 pence.
