04/5/2018 13:47 | No idea, IAG shall be playing their cards close to the chest....anything could happen with regards to further bids for Norwegian! | neilrich
04/5/2018 12:52 | Interesting info Qantas , thank . So options now are to increase the silent offer, increase the shareholding with an open offer to any Norwegian shareholders, hold your shareholding in the hope of increasing later when Norwegian struggle. or walk away and hope to pick up the pieces later. Any ideas ? | m1k3y1
04/5/2018 11:21 | I'd expect broker upgrades next week. Also, April Traffic stats due Weds 9 May. I wonder how long before we hear about Norwegian!! | neilrich

04/5/2018 09:24 | Flew down to Barcelona from Heathrow yesterday. U-turn back to Heathrow after 20 minutes as front wheels wouldn't retract. Fair pkay to BA , found replacement A320 and had us in Barcelona just over a couple of hours late 😀👍 | philanderer

04/5/2018 08:01 | International Consolidated Airlines Group said passenger revenue grew 3.4% in first three months to March 31, underpinning a 75% jump in operating profit compared to the same period last year. Passenger revenue rose 3.4% to €4.42bn from €4.27bn in the first quarter of last year, while total revenue rose 2.1% to €5.02bn from €4.92bn. 'Our positive passenger unit revenue trend continued with an increase of 3.5% at constant currency. This trend benefitted partially from the timing of Easter. Non-fuel unit costs before exceptional items were down 0.9% at constant currency,' the firm said. Operating profit after exceptional items rose 552% to €919m, and profit after tax, after exceptional items, was €794m, up 1,293%. Available seat kilometres, a measure of the airline's capacity, was up 4.1% to 71.1bn from 68.3bn. The firm said at current fuel prices and exchange rates, it still expected operating profit for 2018 to show an increase year-on-year, while passenger unit revenue and non-fuel unit costs were also expected to improve at constant currency. | broadwood
04/5/2018 07:48 | Aye not bad at all. The way the market works, should be good for a few % knocked off the SP! | chiefbrody
04/5/2018 07:46 | Q1 Operating Profit before exceptional was €280 million, the consensus had been €206 million. Well ahead of expectations and therefore the potential for broker upgrade. | neilrich
04/5/2018 07:31 | Good results and nice to see the net debt to ebitdar ratio come down | hornets89
04/5/2018 07:19 | The Group's cash position of €7,442 million was broadly in line with the same period last year while adjusted net debt decreased €651 million from lower on-balance sheet debt. Adjusted net debt to EBITDAR was lower by 0.3 to 1.2 times. | neilrich
04/5/2018 07:15 | Basic EPS is up 1440%. | neilrich

25/4/2018 09:00 | Hi Monty I hold this company in my ISA but still have the withholding tax deducted . Hope this helps. | m1k3y1
25/4/2018 06:56 | So is this company, no tax advantage in a ISA for dividends? | montyhedge
24/4/2018 21:56 | I am surprised that IAG have not provided advice to their UK investors on how they can recover this tax, or even provided the services of a company who can deal with this for shareholders. | m1k3y1
24/4/2018 21:29 | Agree. This tax year we can earn £2000 tax free and 7.5% tax thereafter yet on £2000 IAG divi we will suffer £380. Disappointing that the tax advisors Iag have recommended on their website aren’t in a position to help. | elmo1971
24/4/2018 18:03 | Have asked several companies such as Hargreaves if they can reclaim this tax but not yet met anyone who can. I find it discriminatory to be honest, especially as we are still eu citizens. It is a substantial sum of money and will undoubtedly run into millions of pounds from UK Investors. | m1k3y1
24/4/2018 16:38 | Has anyone tried to reclaim the 19% Spanish Withholding tax on their dividends. IAG have suggested a company called Spanish Tax Forms on their website but they have indicated that they "do not currently have a reliable process for reclaiming Spanish withholding tax on dividend payments. This is because the UK registrars are currently unable to generate the specific documentation required by the Spanish tax authorities to claim the refund." Was going to try it myself but on reading the notes on IAG website I need a Spanish Tax Representative to submit the Form 210 and supporting documentation. Anyone been successful in reclaiming the tax? Thanks | elmo1971 |
