20/10/2017 20:11 | Aye still cheap. Hold them both. IAG would be 1000p if it had a US style valuation. | chiefbrody

26/9/2017 08:36 | What are our thoughts on the share buy back programme .. 67m held in treasury now ? | ccr1958
21/9/2017 15:32 | Yes the Pension closure has been muted for along time ,of course long term this will benefit the shareholders, BA could do without more industrial action, so a good deal for employees would be prudent imo. ccr. | ccr1958
08/9/2017 08:24 | Can only be a positive longer term - appears that some employees are currently getting circa upto 45% of their annual wage equivalent paid by the company into their individual pension pots which is fantastic for them but surely unsustainable longer term - as for the unions they know behind the scenes that they cannot stop this closure - their job now will be to get the best terms for the new DC pension version - ie how much can they negotiate percentage wise annually - either way it wont be 45% ! or anything like that otherwise it would not have been proposed by the company to close - all said good for shareholders (BA employees also will "lock in" their current DB pension contributions so an employee who has say 25 years in will keep that element - so not all as bad as it seems - they have had a good run so to speak | sponges
06/9/2017 12:20 | The way it's going... Ryanair reduces hand luggage allowance to ONE small bag in a bid to cut flight delays The Dublin carrier says delays are caused by a lack of space in overhead lockers From November 1 patrons can only carry a 35cm x 20cm x 20cm bag on board Priority customers, who pay £5 to £6 more, can take two bags as per normal Read more: | philanderer

09/8/2017 16:22 | Concise write up regarding dividend prospects here: hxxp://dividendwealt | dividendwealth
04/8/2017 18:12 | P/E of around 7 ish would suggest it's pretty cheap to me. Whilst airlines don't deserve a strong rating (too many constant uncertainties), i'd have thought a P/E of 10 would be fair. There's scope for large div increases too.£8 by Spring 2018 with a following breeze. | chiefbrody
04/8/2017 17:59 | I am guessing 600 is reasonable value --- certainly not cheap. I tend to go short after 610p as there is sufficient volatility to make money both using short and long positions. I would normally add to long positions below 585p. Worst case, I think there is good support around 540-560p level and similarly the share price struggles to go higher than 620-640 range. | younasm
04/8/2017 16:06 | Undervalued, that's why. | chiefbrody
04/8/2017 14:06 | jailbird, odd thing is every time it crashes the share price rises | notimpressed
03/8/2017 22:15 | It is a serious problem . I am surprised they have not resolved the repeat issues | jailbird
02/8/2017 13:30 | If BA were not in buy back mode it would be a strong short today.I'm not a shorter but bad management should always be punished. Hope to dip in again soon! | painter
02/8/2017 12:48 | Whatever the case with IAG, this computer system is a liability. How many failures before it starts to seriously impact passenger numbers and then fundamentals? Cash | cashandcard
02/8/2017 10:25 | Can't argue with any of your comments jailbird. Short has just gone into profit, only looking for tonight's beer money. | painter
02/8/2017 09:29 | BA's check in problems occur periodically Ever since the introduced this new systems it has been flaky They just live with as long as it dies not cause cancellations of course .Delays are part and parcel of flying now .Unfortunately BAs standards have fallen because of outsourcing and pay disputes ; workforce moral is at an all time low. No pride left working for BA anymore. Lifelong careers are gone . | jailbird |
