01/5/2024 16:25 | Morning! Drifting down to the 160’s. Too predictable. | andybe4
01/5/2024 12:16 | It's worth remembering it took 4 record years pre covid to reach the dizzy heights of 7.00 plus. The flying program capacity is now back to pre covid levels. The opportunity to again go on a great run of results is there imo. I cant see any obvious reason at all why it isn't possible again barring any big political event. We just need to see premium passenger figures rising little more which imo we will this summer. GLA | 1spitfire
01/5/2024 12:09 | For bit of fun fancy making a prediction for end of May share price Mine is 1.86 | 1spitfire
30/4/2024 15:57 | Operating profit (which wont include debt repayments) is only forecast to grow by 10% - which seems okay...but considering the S&P500 average a 10% return a year with the added benefits of not being on the UK exchange and diversified portfolio to manage risk - I still can't see the risk/reward being worth it. Still enjoys the ups & downs though. | hoezilla
30/4/2024 15:48 | If it helps more pilots get their foot in the door... although it doesn't mention whose picking up the €100,000 per person bill though - sounds more like cleverly worded press release recruitment advert rather than desperation. | hoezilla
30/4/2024 13:33 | Cant deny that got a wry smile. On what basis do you not see 200 when the 52 week range is 137-180 showing a continuing trend northwards. Be interested to hear | 1spitfire
30/4/2024 12:14 | Been in and out of here for a while now. Still cannot see this breaking 200p any time soon and it certainly will never recover to pre COVID prices. A traders paradise though and I suppose that works for some. | andybe4
29/4/2024 15:17 | For me div unlikely this year but highly likely next. Nothing to be concerned about and personally top up here and buy when poss as holding long term and this is the year the recovery starts in earnest imo. Expecting good results Friday week and this breaking into 180s before we enter the best quarter traditionally. By Q2 going to be 2.00 plus imo. Thats me being honest. | 1spitfire
29/4/2024 15:09 | Border strike having no effect apparently and could be resolved as only involving a small number of people.. No disruption in evidence according to informed sources and flight refuelling strike set for 4th,5th and 6th May at Heathrow does not effect BA. just Virgin , Air France, Emirates, and TAP Air. | cyberian
29/4/2024 13:07 | This won't help ATM. | philmac56
29/4/2024 12:47 | Is it time to sell or hold? | marky1965
29/4/2024 12:42 | Perhaps the divi would attract the attention of the bigger boys who want a return, and capital grown if possible! A buyback does not always raise the share price Well the share price is waiting on the touchline/sideline, waiting patiently to be called into the game. To bring a spark to the SP, looks like we will be watching & waiting until 10th May. Gla | philmac56
29/4/2024 12:07 | Does anyone have a view on whether a divi could be announced on the 10th? Think I would prefer a buyback. Anyway the key is the forward guidance for 2024 and capital management as the debt continues to be managed, hoping for another stellar year. | hutchmeister
28/4/2024 17:10 | Great post Hutch. | 1spitfire
26/4/2024 16:22 | Heathrow: Breaking recordsThe return of leisure travel has propelled Heathrow to record highs in passengers. In the first quarter, it received 18.5 million travelers-higher for a "traditionally quieter period of the year," the group said in its results published Wednesday. That moved the needle for Heathrow as its £60 million loss for the same period last year turned into a £189 million profit this year. The London airport also lifted its full-year expectations as it's expecting the busy summer season. The airport also had its first annual profit since the pandemic in 2023, pointing to an upward trajectory for Heathrow. The path looks generally "onward-and-upward" for aviation, barring a few instances of turbulence. | hutchmeister
26/4/2024 08:19 | Out now & bought GNC [LSE] | blackhorse23
25/4/2024 08:54 | Whats it's not me accusing you of that as actually I totally agree with you.I got accused of that too on other forums which is as you say is totally daft. The big players that influence a share price do not read forums like this and even if they did would not be influenced. Where we disagree and it's ok to disagree ok is on other airlines performance and impact on IAG and pilot shortage. I hope afyer covid and problems many face they can make some cash and that's why I promote this as it's highly likely over time to do that. | 1spitfire
24/4/2024 20:07 | There are barely four of us on this board. To suggest I’m ramping or trying to get 4 people to buy or sell is beyond silly . What effect will me talking you to selling your shares have on share price of a multi billion pound company. My background is aviation hence my interest. I don’t hold IAG. | whatsup32
24/4/2024 19:45 | Whats. Trust me I'm not Trying ok. Have a chat with Ron who can enlighten. That said I share his views but Im saying that in respectful way as all just opinions. No change here for LTH. Its the one to be in as the trend north imo will continue this year in earnest. After 1Q1 results very confident this will head towards 2.00 fairly quickly . GLA | 1spitfire
24/4/2024 14:46 | Jet blue have had a number of negative issues from my recall, and other US regional operators also. However, I think that Delta had some more positive results recently, and their prospects and guidance going forward has been positive. I guess we will have the IAG next set of numbers in early May. Personally I am expecting good news and perhaps a further upgrade but one can never be sure. | cyberian
24/4/2024 14:38 | I had you filtered some time ago spitfire . You’re filtered again. FYI which is it I’m accused of scaremongering or ramping spitfire ? Been accused of both is strange . | whatsup32
24/4/2024 14:02 | Airlines across the globe are doing well you said? You can try to discredit me by dragging another user into it you dislike, but really you should just stop the intermittent scaremongering and ramping. | trying2trade
24/4/2024 13:30 | Here is JetBlue , news from last night . share price down 19% | whatsup32
24/4/2024 13:27 | Since you ask . Here is Spirit Airlines Was $ 50.00. Now $3.70 in 5 year chart , it’s very close to all time lows now. I suspect it’s technically bankrupt and should be planning chapter 13 Does that answer your question spitfire | whatsup32
24/4/2024 07:25 | How are JetBlue getting on? And spirit? | trying2trade |
