If that article is at all true, then the previous experience of Bank bailouts obviously doesnt bode well for the share price in the short term. banks nationalied 40-50% meant so dilution of the same amount.

But can IAG be nationalised if its part British part spanish?

Luckily I sold a place in December that I renovated. I don't see many places getting sold until next year, people won't want to invite others in and visa versa, plus people won't stretch themselves even with cheap money as security of work isn't there.

IAG losses on £35 bn of planes will be more than its £6 bn net assets. £5-10 bn Trading losses on top. Shares already dead.
Countryside Properties (CSP) Q1 results 7am tomorrow. 33% over-valued =125p now. Will not be for long. 12 minutes left to tuck in with a frisky short sell @368p, if you are in to that sort of thing.
All imho DYOR.

Travel giant TUI plans to axe 8,000 jobs despite government bailout:

Travel firm TUI Group has announced that it will slash 10 percent of its workforce worldwide in an effort to cut costs amid the coronavirus pandemic.

In its half-year financial results presented on Wednesday, the company said it will have to reduce operational costs to cope with the fallout from the pandemic, “the greatest crisis the tourism industry and TUI has ever faced.”

“We are targeting to permanently reduce our overhead cost base by 30 percent across the entire Group. This will have an impact on potentially 8,000 roles globally that will either not be recruited or reduced,” CEO Fritz Joussen said in a press release.

At 135p market cap would be roughly 2.7 billion.

Yes, plus market cap 2.7 billion. Still high. Bulls argue cash in bank, yes, but what about debt.

monty why 135? is that a charting support level?

I would have thought strong support at regular levels of 150p and 100?

I reckon 44p to be made on the downside from 174p to 134p , 10p to be made on the upside if its rises.
