from the 2007 annual report,

"As reported in the 2006 Annual Report, both of the Group's loan stock agreements have been extended for a further three years to 31 May 2009. This demonstrates investor confidence and has avoided the need to repay £1,790,000 including interest that would otherwise have fallen due for repayment within the current financial year."

So we have to wait a bit longer to find out.

Nice to see the momentum in the share price continue the upward trend. I thought the 9th May was the deadline for when the loan note holders had to decide by so we may hear some news next week on this. Next Friday is the 8th so the last day they have to convert. (I may have got my dates mixed up though)

YES thats my thinking, once igp show how good there software is, lots more european contracts will follow.

Ive heard bank cards will be start to go biometic soon, so there is lots of opportunties for igp coming up.

This share can only go up in this increasing biometric market place.

Look out for technology tiddler Intercede, flat at 39p. A little birdy tells me it has just been awarded an identity card contract with a major eu country. The headline value of the deal wont send pulses racing its thought to be worth 450,000, However, it is a huge vote of confidence in the company's MyID technology and could open a number of other doors for this conservatively run software firm.

I'm starting to get the feeling that we could soon be in for a lot more fun here than any of the Chinese stocks. Mainly because for whatever reason imo there will never be as much money chasing a good overseas stock as there would be chasing a good small UK growth stock... and there's actually not that many stocks that look like growing that are relatively indepedent of economic ups and downs.

The significance of a prime licensable product to a small cap co like this is slowly sinking in, I think.

It does show the perils of trying to trade this. One moment it's drifting on a few sells and the next it's up 10% and there's no chance of buying back in.

Excellent news - the significance lies not with the amount but with the grantor of the contract and in the narrative. The line about becoming the first choice around the world is not something we usually see from this company and would not have been put in an RNS without a great deal of thought. And this for a mere £14m UK micro-cap!

There will always be a few spivs around who sell and try and make few pennies by destabalisinge the market with suggestions like the withdrawal of the identification card in the U.K. will have a knock-on effect on IGP.

The only problem is the MM's let them get out of their shorting by marking the price down on their sales and not up! A favourite trick in bull markets.

However, todays announcement with the statement 'It provides strong evidence that Intercede's MyID software is rapidly becoming the first choice for government identity projects around the world.' shows everyone that there is more to this business than anything to do with UK Government contracts.

Great news and further evidence of more share price appreciation over 2009 and '10.

As you point out the very last sentence is the bit I like, the order is for only E0.5m but its the significance of what could follow in the future. The share price is marked up 2p to 41p on open this morning, so we are not the only ones that are impressed.

New European Government Contract

Intercede, the producer of the MyID Identity and Credential Management System (IDCMS) software, is pleased to announce that it has received an order from a European Government Agency. The total value of the contract is estimated to exceed €0.5m including MyID software licenses, professional services and support & maintenance through to 2012. At least €0.2m is expected to be recognised as revenue in the financial year ending 31 March 2010.

This project concerns the secure issuance of smart card based identity credentials to government employees who undertake sensitive citizen-facing business processes.

'Thisnew order further demonstrates the progress that Intercede is starting to make within the EU', said Richard Parris, Intercede's Chairman and Chief Executive. 'It provides strong evidence that Intercede's MyID software is rapidly becoming the first choice for government identity projects around the world.'
