09/2/2009 16:40 | Sorry Aphro. Thanks for the breakdown. | 237gmoney
09/2/2009 16:24 | 237 I hope you do not think I am trying to pedantic but I didn't quite say 100,000 would cost 42p. I said my broker called to let me know he could get 100,000 shares at 42p. There is a slight difference as I could have countered him and bid 40p.but didn't. In fact I actually offered stock afterwards and sold a few. Not a lot. Once again the seller of 5,000 comes back in to test the MM at 36p and they all drop their prices. One at 35p and the other two at 34p. On Thursday they were ALL bidding 36p which indicates someone like me was bidding the market up. And they duly played ball taking the bid up to 38p and then the size was offered at 42p. to my broker. The MM's know there is a seller in the background and are just playing games. There is no point getting involved around 40p but every reason to try and buy at 33p. My broker is under instructions to show me offers in size but knows I have no interest around 40/42p level. Why pay a 27% premium when we know sellers will come back around 35p to try to manipulate the price down. These MM's are so predictable. Games all games and manipulation until we get a couple of institutional buyers in. | aphrodites
09/2/2009 15:12 | thats the quirks of selftrade I suspect Igoe :-) | felix99
09/2/2009 14:30 | Its putting a maxium size when i put a small dummy order in, put when i try 40,000 it wont expect it. mms playing around. | igoe104
09/2/2009 13:48 | at what price 50,000 igoe? if Aphro was telling us 100,000 would cost 42p then 50,000 is unlikely to go for 38p....The graph looks ready for another leg up though.....I remember a while back HB did a graph on IGP and said that they should be back to 70p by the spring....even if thats the summer Im happy with that....will have to wait and see as we have to factor in the extra stock that comes to market in three months time.... | 237gmoney
09/2/2009 13:45 | 237g, these IP cases can take 2 years to come to court. 97% of them are settled before they get there but there's usually a period of posturing beforehand. I wouldn't expect any news on the case for a while yet. | wjccghcc
09/2/2009 13:43 | Don't know where you get those numbers you can't buy or sell 10000 on Selftrade. | spooky
09/2/2009 13:06 | INTERESTING to see that there is still lots of stock around. you can buy 50,000 and sell 37500. | igoe104
09/2/2009 12:29 | More reason why ActivIdentity want to take out Intercede with this law suit. Im sure what the process is but will there be a court date booked? does this law suit play in the lawyers offices? some thought this would blow up in smoke but no news on anything since..... Hopefully IGP can enlighten us on the progress in the trading statement at the beginning of April. Im sure the loan note holders will want to put this to bed as quick as we do otherwise it still may have some influence on their decision. | 237gmoney
09/2/2009 10:27 | Interesting reading the Actividentity investor presentation. In the competitors section, they only mention Bell ID and Intercede for Credential and Device Management in each of the business segments. Bell ID have announced very few ID contracts in the last 6 months and have been focussing more on the EMV space, so really that makes it a two horse race. | wjccghcc
09/2/2009 10:05 | Bluehill were formed just a couple of years ago as an active investor in the industry. An interesting way to play the sector although they seem to have taken a bath late last year in a spanish outfit.Swiss based and accounts in German so I have no idea what their cash is like! | pyman
09/2/2009 09:55 | Also ActivIdentity released 1st Quarter results last week. Interesting results to say the least. In summary, they made a loss of $4.5m in the quarter, Over the last nine months, the company reduced total headcount by 23% from 320 to 245. Revenue for the quarter ended December 31, 2008, was $16.3 million, compared to $15.4 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 and $15.6 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2008. They have $79m cash to hand left....they had $79.8m cash as at end 4th Quarter 2008 and $121m cash as at end 4th quarter 2007. Not a company going in the right direction imo - no wonder they are trying to knock Intercede group off the top spot.... | 237gmoney
09/2/2009 09:30 | Seems there is another ID company throwing its weight around in Europe and Oz at the moment with two recent takeovers of other ID card companies.... Bluehill ID BLUEHILL ID ACQUIRES DUTCH IDENTIFICATION COMPANY YOONISON BV BLUEHILL ID COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF FASTCARDS PTY LTD | 237gmoney
09/2/2009 07:03 | igoe re post 1057 Not me boss! | aphrodites
08/2/2009 15:30 | YES and it could go up to over 8 million in the end. once this program is shown as a success, there will be alot more work in the pipe-line for igp and there partners. | igoe104
08/2/2009 15:03 | TWIC pre-enrolled up to 908k. Not far to go until the magic million. And from the TWIC program director's testimony to Congress last year: "TWIC is by far the largest biometric smartcard program of its kind in the world." | wjccghcc
06/2/2009 17:40 | APHRO was that you who purchased 25,000 late on ? ps wjcc great post 1035, only just managed to look at it. | igoe104
06/2/2009 16:20 | I managed to buy at 38p yesterday with no problems, I only had problems very early yesterday, where I couldn't purchase. Hopefully we may see some write ups in the weekend press, which may put a floor under the share price I was thinking about what I would do with the loan notes, and I think unless I really needed the money I would hold on to the shares and enjoy the ride. These people are in at 20 and 15p and have already doubled there money, but why would they sell now, just as IGP move into meaningful profit, and a very real chance of doubling there money again over the next year. | interceptor2
06/2/2009 12:48 | There is LOTS OF STOCK AVAILABLE, you can buy 50,000 for 38p. and sell 37,500 at 36p so the mms have given a rare market for a change. IM sure if their was a seller aphro as you have just said, they would have taken advantage and dumped 37,500 by now, this tells me the price is at a par. IT would be nice to see another RNS next week to push this into the 40,s, the good thing now with this stock is we should get alot of news flow with being in such a growth market. | igoe104
06/2/2009 08:59 | Awilson My broker called this morning to say he could get me 100k at 42p! There is stock out there at a price. I think the MM's have deliberately pulled this share price up because they know they have a seller! | aphrodites
06/2/2009 08:39 | There seems to be no stock available, even in small amounts. | awilson
05/2/2009 21:37 | Great news again. Just think what this would have done in a bull market. It's so difficult keeping small cap share prices at the moment. But, that will change one day,,at which point this will really fly! | topvest
05/2/2009 19:20 | What the chances of being involved with this project with daon ? they became a partner last year, and we have done nothing with them yet. Here we go guys. | igoe104
05/2/2009 16:53 | FELIX Spelling has never been my strong point. Maybe that is because I am dexplastic. :0) | aphrodites
05/2/2009 15:20 | Maybe if you spelt his surname correctly he would have called you back :-) | felix99 |
