"Following the progress made during the year, the Board expects revenue for the
full year to 31 March 2007 to be no less than 20% higher than last year, which
does not take into account the possible reporting of any late partner wins. The
Group has also been cash generative since 30 September 2006."

It would have been nice if they got a contract in before results which would have reduced the yr's losses.

Normally i would agree that this would head down towards the Placing price. However, the difference here is the amount of new shares issued in relation to existing shares. There were 34m shares in issue before this Placing of 2m shares, ie only 6% raised at 33p.

Normally, the share price quickly retraces to the Placing price when a significant amount of shares is issued but, with only 6% issued, then this imediately values the stock at 6% below its existing price.

So for example, at 60p recently, then the new share price to reflect the same Mkt Cap would be 56p.

Its now way oversold on the basis of the Placing alone. My only concern, and i suspect the real reason for the recent fall, is the lack of any substantial RNS's since before Christmas, compounded by the Placing.

With only 6% extra shares in issue then its impact should be quite minimal. Its the lack of news that is killing the share price

"We are pleased to have secured NEW institutional backing for the Group".

which also makes one wonder why the old Institutions weren't interested.

Well even if they decided to raise caah @60p..institution will have wanted max 45p..but still beter than 33p...maybe someone should put this question to them.

incidentally did anyone ever ask them about raising cash before?

Now what did I post yesterday?

And do not tell me this share price has not been deliberately manipulated lower over the last few weeks.

One could even question the timing and why they did not wait to annouce it with the results.

My guess is someone has been told that whispers are circulating in the market of a cash raising exercise and best to get it out of the way now!!!

The great pity is that the F.D. did not take the opportunity to raise funds when the share price was in the high 60's.

33p is giving the shares away.

I hate to say it but this stinks of incompetance on the part of the company advisors. Do you want to put money on someone giving someone the wink?

Also the F.D. doesn't come out of it exactly smelling of roses.

And the M.D. uses the old phrase that is supposed to calm all concerns. "We are pleased to have secured NEW institutional backing for the Group".

How many times have we all heard that!!

Despite my frustration the announcement removes any further funding concerns and gives room for an upbeat set of preliminary results in two weeks.

I agree this is a good time to put a bit more money in. I only wish it was at 33p!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

tp,

fund raising is small amount and dilution is very small.

It is not desperate measure..but like you said as these big projects have taken a little longer, they need a bit to tick over.

IGOE..more good news for TWIC

placing guys...that's why it was dropping...hope to get a nice buying opp now...if it falls...not concerned..this is positive news...

Parris stating meaningul revenues..i still the word significant they used last time...looks like earlier thoughts on cash raising has come true...even though they were cash positive H2.

edit..PP the usual instituions know they need the money now as revenues are still lumpy short term and maybe the best option hey?

I am particularly flush with cash having received this week the proceeds from the liquidation of a property company.

I intend to buy more shares but I am not prepared to pay up for size until the games of recent weeks have run their course.

You can bet they will charge 2p over the offer price for 50,000 shares.

Of course someone might have insight into the figures to be released shortly and is leaking a few shares into the market or someone knows there will be a cash raising exercise with the results.

If it is the latter the F.D. deserves a hefty kick in the proverbials, not only because of the timing but because 2 months ago he said there was no need to raise cash.

Someone knows something and the share price is being deliberately manipulated lower.

Don't you reckon we should all pile in at the same time and fleece the mm?!! Sorry, but I get tired of the share price being dropped for no apparent reason - why don't they increase it a few p every now and again just to be different and keep us happy?!!

Honestly. Total sales of 13,000 vs buys of 10,000 and the MMs drop the price 2p.

I don't think it's being manipulated, it's just that the MMs don't like holding a position and they drop the price on small bored sells until they can square their books. It's nice on the way up but can be like chinese water torture on the way down. When it turns though, it means you won't be able to buy any volume for love or money.

Results in 2-3 weeks will show a loss of 400-500k but with revenues up 20+% and cashflow positive in H2, together with a list of extremely impressive contract wins. The problem is that they have to incur costs pitching for and piloting the major projects for up to 2 years before they get the big revenues from the widespread rollouts. Paradoxically, this means the more successful they are, the worse the short-term figures look!

I think APHRODITES is right about the price being manipulated down.
I've just added another 10,000 (trade not showing yet on LSE) at just 47.5p
It'll probably show up as a SELL later. Let's wait and see ;o)
