Posted at 16/3/2021 17:35 by enami Acceptance condition satisfiedAs at 1.00 p.m. (London time) on 16 March 2021, Allied Bidco had received valid acceptances in respect of a total of 1,227,301,154 G4S Shares, representing approximately 79.09 per cent. of the issued share capital of G4S. The Offer has therefore become unconditional as to acceptances. |
Posted at 12/3/2021 07:08 by enami Hmmm - some possibility of this deal not completing???Final closing date for acceptances of the Offer is 1.00 p.m. on 16 March 2021. If insufficient acceptances are received by Allied Bidco by such time then the Offer will lapse. Shareholders who have not yet accepted the Offer are urged to do so as soon as possible Acceptance Condition has been waived down to 50 per cent. plus one share. |
Posted at 15/2/2021 10:05 by commuter10 Hi Mitch, I've read all the RNS stuff & the bidding procedure which I found extremely complex. Do you think there's a likely hood that one player will withdraw either before or during the bidding process?I'm still trying to make an informed decision on what to do. Allied seems to be the preferred bidder but need Garda world to stay in the game & push the price up to the 280 region I feel. Any thoughts as you understand the position far better. Many thanks. |

Posted at 27/1/2021 17:51 by mitch101 FFS.... Garda extends to 10/02/21. they hold 1.61% GFS shares |
Posted at 21/1/2021 18:07 by killieboy commuter: Both offers "end" next week Tue & Wed but either or both could be extended. Both bidders hold a tiny minority of GFS shares therefore they will have to bid enough to get the approval of a) the Board and b) Shareholders. If I were in your shoes (ie unsure of what to do) I would sell up and move on. But.....in the end it is your decision. Remember a profit (however small) is always better than a loss and a small loss is always better than a large loss. |
Posted at 20/1/2021 18:24 by killieboy Commuter10: There may be a higher bid next week....there may not! If everyone walks away (which I think is unlikely) GFS will tank. If you are happy with the 260p take the money, move on and forget all about GFS. |
Posted at 29/12/2020 09:49 by commuter10 Anyone got any advice on what to do here? Shares currently trading at 2.55 offer price only £2.35. Are Garda Shares worth taking or best to sell now? |
Posted at 30/11/2020 10:18 by dontrader No knockout bid and reading today's RNS they don't seem inclined to make one. They see the share price as inflated because of Covid-19 vaccine euphoria. They have very low acceptance so far. Any thoughts? Don |
