Have e-mailed J Heaton asking the following

1) When is AGM
the next few questions I dont expect to get answers to until the agm but asked them just the same

2) Why the need to raise what is effectivley 900k since November 06 when we should have +vet EBITDA
3) percantage of latest facility used to fund working capital
4) purpose for remaining cash

Will let you know if I get a reply but points 2,3,4 are probably price sensitive so do not expect an answer but will attend agm an ask them there .... of course if results are good wont be quite so bothered

May be right RCKT but ..... and just trying to keep it positive
LNG lost 15p.cent of thier share price in the month before their results which subsequently climbed fom 10p to an intraday high of 24p now settled back at 20-21p mark. Giving them a market cap of 14.8m with 71.4m shares in issue.
IGH current market cap 3m (85.9m shares in issue) ... if results are positive and going forward the outlook is good (Cant imagine GVCF coughing up a 600k facility if not .... also John Heaton forme CEO of tote doesnt want anything damaging on his CV) and we find out the 600k is to be spent on marketing and othe excpetional items (business growth/internet site revamps) market cap of 8m doesnt seem unreasonable .... this would equate to an share price of around 9p .... which I would be happy with !
Not ramping just trying to put a positive spin on things ... dyor .... etc etc

Well Quin if it is point 1 then I think we will all be happy .... have to admit I worked for a Ltd company (not plc so didnt have share opions as finance) and tried to secure working capital financing with a leading high street bank and through a VP/JV ... couldnt get anyone to touch us so 'GCVF' must like the business plan going forward .... from a trading/investing point of view the potential of another 12m shares flying around isnt going to make us bundles of cash unless future projections look excellent .... dyor ... etc etc

We can look at this two ways until next week.
1. They need cash to expand operations and things are moving along at pace hence the confidence by GCVF to give them the cash, instead of a rights issue?
2. Things are not generating enough working capital at the mo hence the cash raised.

I am happy as long as there is a sign of improvement and they are now turning a profit.

Ouch! share price down..didn't like it that much did they ? agree that if they are supposed to be profitable why do they need raise more cash.... things must be worse than everyone thought and they must be wasting alot.. not good in my estimation (hope I'm wrong of course!)

Hmmm ... I saw that one .... since then they have raised 300k with a 6m share placing at 5p back in September (presumably to cover working capital) and are now refinancing to the tune of another 600k (12m shares) ... some of which to cover working capital ... hope I'm wrong but if they are profitable from q3 2006 why the need for extra 600k (which has been drawn down immediatly)no point in cash in balance sheet (lowest yielding asset and interest payable) not quite sure what you can acquire with whats left after the working capital requirments .... results will be intertesting

Interesting article in todays issue of Shares Magazine in which they review the outlook for on-line gaming stocks on Aim. IGH is listed as the smallest, by some way, of the 8 stocks listed and does not attract specific attention. There are two pages of coverage and I would commend it as a read to IGH holders. Its conclusion for the sector - expect a second coming after a difficult year for the industry! They are refering, of course, to those companies that held U.S interests but who are now expanding into other parts of the world.

Morning all looks like mobile betting is the way to go

MOBILE DOMAINS

500 000 domains now registered in 104 countries indicates a vibrant mobile sector

A press release from dotMobi, the company behind Internet addresses dedicated to mobile phone applications, has announced that over 500 000 .mobi domains have been registered in 104 countries since the domain's commercial launch in October 2006.

Millions of pages of content are now live on .mobi sites, the company boasts and many of the world's leading brands have gone ".mobi" over the past few months.

Travel brands have quickly adopted .mobi sites to extend their brands for travelers while they are "on the go." Existing sites range from the 2007 Webby Award-nominated Travelosa.mobi to SAS (Scandinavian Airlines), the first airline to enable .mobi access to flight information, check in and schedules.

Soon, travelers will see Amtrak.mobi plus the full range of lodging properties from the Hilton Hotels Corporation available as .mobi sites. A number of high-end auto brands - BMW.mobi, Ferrari.mobi and Rolls-Royce.mobi - are pioneering the way for the automobile industry on the mobile web. But "mobile" travel and automobile brands are only the start.

News and entertainment heavy hitters such as ESPN.mobi, Maxim.mobi, FoxNews.mobi, BusinessWeek.mobi and CNNMoney.mobi have gone mobile, and numerous music companies and their stars have followed suit, including the inspiration for Playtech's latest online casino offering, Tila Tequiland (misstila.mobi)

Some additional hot sites for people on the go are cabbies.mobi to locate a taxi in the US, UK and Canada and screenings.mobi to find film times and locations in those same countries. Also, VoteScotland.mobi means that people can vote in elections via their phones instead of going to the polling station.

"The results demonstrate the strong role dotMobi is playing in driving the creation of mobile content on the Internet," said Neil Edwards, CEO of dotMobi. "Most importantly, the mobile industry's consumer focus around creating .mobi sites is bearing strong results in a short period of time. Consumers finally have easy-to-use and affordable made-for-mobile content." He added, "Our new cross-platform mobile Web developer certification program is already graduating certified developers with hundreds of additional developers already signed to take certification testing."

You have to chuckle at the yanks, they ban online gambling, BUT its fine to bet with your mobile?????

New York Allows Horse Racing Wagering Powered by Sona Mobile
On May 2, 2007, betting on online sites, in some ways, can get a player into a lot of trouble in the state of New York.
But wagering on the horses or "ponies" on online sites will bring no benefit to the player as the New York State Racing and Betting Board has given their nod of approval to the application pass by the New York Racing Association or NYRA to offer pari-mutuel betting on online sites.
It only means that NYRA, which is currently the owner and manager of the 3 largest racing tracks in New York, Belmont Park, Saratoga and Aqueduct, can offer their own web betting platform.
This would allow horse racing fans the chance to access real time information about the racing tracks and to place their wager online.
The first of its kind to be allowed in the state of New York, the online betting platform has been made and will be operated by Sona Mobile, a known leading maker of top of the line mobile solutions for both mobile gambling and entertainment needs by different users.
Just last year, over 2 million patrons watched horse racing at the tracks of NYRA. Currently, the Thoroughbred Horse Racing Industry employs around 17,000 people and produces around $1.4 Billion for the New York Economy.

CZECH POSSIBLITIES FOR ONLINE GAMBLING ARE ATTRACTIVE

European betting companies may be licking their lips, but there are legal uncertainties

The Czech Business Weekly carried an intriguing interview with corporate lawyer Jindøich Rajchl, who does work for the giant Austrian-listed betting group Bwin Interactive among others.

The article claims that foreign online gambling companies are betting they're onto a Czech business jackpot because government officials will never be able to stop their Internet activities run from abroad. Austria-based Bwin Interactive Entertainment AG is one enterprise benefiting from laws that have only served to block competition from domestic entities, the report reveals.

Rajchl is a big fan of the European Court of Justice (ECJ) when it comes to the Internet business-without-borders "exploited" by gambling firms such as Bwin. Recent ECJ rulings for free movement of trade and services - an online betting firm legal in its home European Union country may do business in all EU markets - are music to his ears.

Czech Business Weekly reports that Czechs gambled some Kč 3.5 billion (Euro 124.04 million) through Bwin alone last year, according to server iHNed.cz, with domestic betting firms such as Fortuna unable to get a piece of the action. The frustration generated by the situation led to the Office for Protection of Economic Competition (ÚOHS) in March this year threatening to challenge the state over the discrimination while Fortuna said it might try to offer online services from an "asylum" office created abroad (see previous Online-Casinos.com/InfoPowa report).

CBW says Bwin has run its Czech Web site, www.bwin.cz, since 2002, drawing its main income from sports betting, while also offering poker, casino, no-download games, table tennis and golf options. While it and Gibraltar-based daughter company bwin International respect online gambling bans issued by non-EU countries – two months ago the group terminated its activities in Turkey – it is confident Czech Internet gambling law will remain subordinate to the European courts' line on the issue.

In the piece, Rajchl emphasised the extra transparency the company offers because its stock is publicly traded on the Vienna Stock Exchange and said company growth will be spurred by the increasing Internet and digital television penetration.

Rajchl revealed that Bwin has more than 3 million clients worldwide and is number one on the European online betting market. Asked about the company's financial losses of Euro 539.6 million last year, the lawyer said that this stemmed from Bwin's acquisition of Ongame, the third biggest online poker operator with large poker venues like Pokerroom.com in its stable. "This investment has a long-term recoverability," he stressed.

He also referred to [apparently still ongoing] negotiations between Bwin and the London-based Sportingbet group, which could result in the largest online betting group yet if brought to fruition.

Rajchl explained to CBW that Bwin preferred to operate legally in countries where it is possible to license, but added: "In the Czech Republic, the problem is with the Ministry of Finance. They tell us our business is illegal as we don't have a licence, but at the same time they say they'll never permit online betting."

Asked which countries take the toughest line toward online betting, Rajchl named France, saying "France, for instance, is very aggressive. In Germany the situation is different from state to state. If you look at [German football club] SV Werder Bremen, which we have a sponsorship contract with, then you see that if the team plays in Stuttgart the team can have the bwin logo on its strip, whereas when it plays in Munich it can't.

"The European Commission (EC) has already initiated discussions with the most problematic countries such as France, Germany and Italy, asking these countries to explain why they regulate the online betting market. But, for instance, in non-EU state Turkey we had to end our online betting activities as they are prohibited."

Taxed with the Czech Ministry of Finance argument that there is inadequate control of underage online betting, Racjchl argued that this was a smokescreen hiding the government's real reason for objecting to online gambling - competing with state monopolies that harvest tax revenues.

"I have to say we have better guarantees in [the age control area] than some [land] betting offices. If you want to obtain your prize you have to send a copy of your passport or ID card, he said. "Another thing is we don't accept cash and younger people don't have credit cards. In Czech betting offices nobody asks after a person's age or identity. In addition, nobody regulates the slot machines, which any child can play.

"We can only ask why as last year the income of the state budget from these slot machines was Kč 50 billion, which is five times more than the income from the whole betting business."

Rajchl dealt with measures against problem gambling used by Bwin, which included maximum limits and monitoring heightened gambling patterns. "We can be very interactive. If the client bets regularly, we send an e-mail with questions the client has to answer. If we conclude from the responses that there's some sort of addiction, we're able to work with the client further," he revealed, adding that this was not a frequent occurrence.

The lawyer made a generous offer to any Czech gambler charged by the authorities for illegal gambling, saying: "If there is any legal proceeding against any citizen of the Czech Republic I'm ready to represent the person personally for free and to guarantee a victory in the court proceeding – even at the European Court of Justice if necessary.

"My certainty derives from the fact that so far all such initiatives [of the Ministry of Finance] have been postponed by police and state attorneys. Today, only one such civil proceeding is taking place. (CBW Editor's note: according to the Ministry of Finance, a person can be fined up to Kč 50,000 for taking part in online gambling.)

Presumably with the benefit of Bwin experience and the results of surveys by the company, Rajchl said that traditionally South European nations bet the most. "Greeks follow their heart more, whereas, for instance, Czechs follow rather their minds," he generalised. "I always give the example of if [Greek football club] Olympiacos C.F.P plays Barcelona, half of Greece will bet on Olympiacos, whereas if [Czech football club] AC Sparta Praha plays Barcelona, I won't know of any Czech person betting on AC Sparta Praha!"

Bwin's potential in the Czech market is good, according to Rajchl, who referred to some 400 000 Czech clients. "It's typically 4 percent of the population [in a European country]. You can immediately subtract all women - 96 percent of men bet and 4 percent of men bet on the credit cards of their women," he revealed.
