Interactive Gaming FY pretax loss narrows, sales rise significantly
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Interactive Gaming Holdings PLC narrowed its full-year pretax loss from a significant increase in turnover and said it is confident to reach profitability in the near future.

The online sports betting and gaming company reported a pretax loss of 1.97 mln stg, down from 2.33 mln year ago while turnover rose to 32.9 mln stg from 8.1 mln.

Gross margins increased to 5.4 pct from 3.1 pct previously.

The company said it expects a positive impact from end of July onwards with a reduction in operating costs from its decision to relocate the business to Malta.

The company said the move will reduce headcount 'significantly' without having material impact on group turnover. TFN.newsdesk@thomson.com rda/lam

Lots of potential here, IGH have given themselves and their share holders a rough ride recently, this i believe is reflected in the low company valuation at present.

Jonathan Hill, executive Deputy Chairman of General Capital, commented: "Over
recent weeks we have worked very closely with IGH in evaluating their strategic
options for the future of the Company. We are very pleased to have become
shareholders in IGH and look forward to be working with them in the future."

Thomas Taule, Executive Chairman of IGH, said: "We are delighted with General
Capital's support and their decision to exercise their warrants. We believe
this demonstrates their confidence in our potential and intended strategy going
forward."

It appears that General Capital have decided IGH are worth backing and i think we can now start to look forwards to some good share price growth.

Interactive Gaming Holdings is facing further questions regarding its solvency after a report in the Racing Post suggested customers were having trouble getting money out of the company. The paper says there is speculation that Premierbet customers are owed in excess of £100,000. It quotes Thomas Taule, executive chairman at the company, as admitting that the firm had encountered a "processing problem" regarding some payments to customers but that the issue had been resolved. The Post then goes on to quote a Premierbet punter form Hampshire who has complained that despite repeated requests for withdrawal of his £5,000 balance, the money had still to appear in his bank. Rumours regarding the solvency of IGH have been rife ever since the company announced an emergency funding package last month. The company was unavailable for comment this morning

Step in the right direction but have now been placed on the Red list .... along with companies who have fled with punters money and trade illegally .... Tom Taule realy must turn this around although the above site is non-regulatory regular gamblers will leave in their droves with neagative sentiment like this .... non publication of accounts .... auditors woriied about company remaining a going concern and recent funding to the tune of 850k ..... not suggesting it isnt a payment proceessing problem but quite easy to put 2&2 together and come up with a different reason .... anyway lets hope all is sorted now !

Looks like we are moving in the right direction.

The potential remains IMHO.

17-07-2007 Premierbet claims processing problems have been resolved

The UK bookmaker tells the Racing Post that they have resolved the processing problem which has caused the delays in payments to punters.
"We unfortunately have had a significant technical issue with our payment processing company which obviously has prevented us from doing paybacks on to cards. We have been working at this for quite some time but we now have it resolved and my understanding is that there are no issues and everything is being processed," said Thomas Taule, Executive Chairman of parent company Interactive Gaming Holdings.
"Without question, everybody who wants their money will shortly be getting it. I am back in Britain tomorrow and this is top of my agenda to make sure everybody is sorted out," he added.

Sorry Multi .. I was looking more at the line .... 'In September we will have a report that will look at gambling in our country - the incidence and prevalence of it and the social effects of it.' ... Gordon is notoriously anti-gaming ... apparently .... my only slight concern would be if you are not licensed and paying UK corporation tax then he may try to bring about a clamp down ... Just thought it may be of interest realy ... if we were a super casino would hope to have a market cap slighty higher than 1.7m !

Woofy, you need to do more research. IGH has no super casinos in the UK. Plus they are now Malta based (operationally)

----------------------------

According to the FY accounts (page 15), the option to raise the additional 750k is at IGH's discretion - though they had agreed to raise the 250k after relisting hence the 5th July 2007 RNS. Looks like its in place.

------------------------------

One such source of additional capital is a conditional placing agreement to
raise a minimum of £250,000 up to a maximum of £1,000,000 at the Group's discretion. This facility is
subject only to the lifting of the suspension of the Company's shares on AIM and the Group has agreed
to proceed with an initial placing of £250,000 shortly after resumption of trading.

FYI
Taken from speech Gordo made today re super-cainos ... hope he isnt going to change his stance re online gambling

Mr Brown added: "This is an issue on which there is no consensus found in the two Houses of Parliament. And it is an issue now subject to reflection over the next few months. In September we will have a report that will look at gambling in our country - the incidence and prevalence of it and the social effects of it.

"I hope that during these summer months we can look at whether regeneration in the areas for the supercasinos may be a better way of meeting their economic and social needs than the creation of supercasinos."

This is obviously what they were referring to in the results. The fact that GCVF have exercised 250k worth of options. They were already in negotiation on releasing results. I would expect news relating to the similar 750K soon. Especially since Cashbox has secured funding to refund GCVF what they owe them. GCVF may divert this to IGH.

On the basis that the Group receive #250,000 as expected from a placing shortly
after trading resumes, together with increased facilities from the debenture
holder combined with Group's option to potentially raise an additional #750,000
under the same placing agreement, the directors consider that the Group will
have sufficient funds to enable it to operate for at least 12 months from the
date of signature of these accounts.

Delb ... as you probably know ... last years interims were issued mid August ... but with compnay in a state of 'Flux' at the moment ... funding , move etc .... realy have no idea as to next update ... if funding were not to be obtained .... I would guess ... in my very humble opinion that Tom Taule would tout this around as premierbet still seems are very marketable brand .... still hoping its a classic case of company overstaffing on back of increased sales and the restructing/cost savings being introduced will prove to be very profitable going forward

I wonder if any of the previously US exposed big hitters are looking at this, as given the turnover and probable client base, although comparatively small, would be a welcome addition, especially at the likely nominal buy out cost.

Also, anyone know when we may be getting any other news, trading update etc

Still sticking with this, had as good as doubled my money last year, but foolishly, with hindsight, failed to sell..........perhaps blind optimism but certainly not going to sell now!

Any views............thanks
