278 bottles were sold in less than 3 days on SD.com £1200 a day has become the rule instead of the exception. They stocked up to 799 bottles a short time ago. Record stock , record sales on SD.com and Roots website

The visibility of Roots sales on here provides some encouragement. However we don't know how much these sales are costing IDP. HC is on record as saying that he generates more than £4 for ever £1 of marketing spend for Skinny Tan. As Roots is a developing brand I expect the return to be lower.

I suspect, given the below run rate revenue growth for H1, that a lot of marketing spend is being shifted from skinny tan to Roots. A good thing longer term...

Hi, I've taken a small stake in Innovaderma. I like the story and potential, and want to understand more before investing more.

Thank you to those reporting sales and followers of Roots, ST, etc. Have you considered what the sales and sale growth you're seeing online and in stores will mean for revenue and profits this year? I'd really appreciate any forecasts based on what's happening out there today.

I'd rather they concentrate on the business than the shareprice.

I hope the marketing of their products is better than the marketing of the share price, because it's diabolical. They deserve to be taken over at £3 or less.

'If it was up to me I would put all other products/brands/gadgets on hold and focus roots and skinny tan + body glow.'

I agree. ST & Roots should be the focus and I get the impression from re-reading my note of that recent TU that they are being careful not to launch / push forward with Stevie K, Charles & Lee, Prolong, etc. too soon:-

HC speaks a lot about getting these new brands ready but spoke a lot more about ST / Body glow extensions and broadening Roots. Example: he said re Jesse Porto in the US 'core focus remains Skinny Tan and Roots for him at this stage.'

Already at least 2 Procapil shampoos on sale in UK, Vitamins and Procapil'Hair. It's the marketing that will push Roots to the top and "Double Effect" along with the "Sensitive" and "Anti-dandruff" added benefits is proving successful along with the highly effective "Word of mouth". The product might not be vastly different to competitors but Haris as a growth hacker knows how to sell it. Digital Marketing is a different science to old fashioned and more expensive Advertising. It's a faster way to spread the word about the latest fad.

HC has never mentioned any exclusivity to procapil.
We need Roots to get established as quick as possible.
Could be a very successful product.
Roots fb followers are growing much quicker now too.

Exactly boon.
Thats what ive been thinking.
From previous reseach a while back. Dont quote me. Procapil (formula?) is owned by croda.

I doubt it as there are some other shampoos containing Procapil out there. From what I've read about baldy cures it's similar to a top dressing to fertilise soil. The Egyptians used a mix of herbs and cow dung.

I wonder if IDP have some sort of exclusivity on Procapil. Either time or volume related. It would be great if they have.

Enbright could be wonderful too!
But IDP cannot do it all at once.

Thanks again boon and croas.
I see roots as currently being in the earlier adopter stage. Ie when new tech comes out a small amount of the population are buying it as soon as they can.
New products/ideas take time to settle in most peoples minds.
Once it tips beyond the early adopter stage roots will grow very quickly im sure of it.
If the product works as well as the majority of users are claiming then root aill be a mega hjt.
Risk is that other brands use procapil in their products.
Should roots establish itself as the brand for procapil in the uk alone it'll be happy days.
The distributors that we have deals with (skinny tan) will be finding shelf space internationally too.
Just got to establish Roots as 'the' brand.
If it was up to me I would put all other products/brands/gadgets on hold and focus roots and skinny tan + body glow.

Fever tree has shown us how one great brand can deliver unbelievable results.
We should concentrate on skinny tan and roots until each is established properly.
There is a momentum growing sith skinny tan and roots and i belive every pound spent promoting these brands will be better spent than starting a new brand from scratch.
Stevie K I have hopes for BTW.

New product ranges for Roots are due out soon as well so we could see growth from there as well. I fully expect Roots to be outselling SkinnyTan by the end of the year.

Agreed - However momentum is growing, that was what I was looking to demonstrate. I can see 100 packs a day in 2-3 months.250 packs in the latter part of 2018 could be possible with continued momentum.Remember this is only one SKU via DTC. The sales team needs to get Roots established in multi-countries and that's where the pot of gold will come from.Time is needed however early signs are good that the Roots range is being well received by the target market which gives me the confidence the product can be scaled up. I'm buying for the long term story here.

Tall prawn that's a decent rate of growth in sales... but still, 50 packs a day isn't going to make us all millionaires yet?
