Sharp drop this afternoon down to 546 , partly in line with the market weakness , but beyond it as well.
Finger on buy button so to speak.

These figures are fine but the market,near the top of its trading range,is showing reluctance to mark stocks higher unless company's EXCEED expectations.Even Whitbreads who announced very solid figures recently received the mandatory mark down on results day only to subsequently recover.I rate the shares a strong HOLD at this level.

Q3 interim out today , market not particularily impressed ; presumably expecting bigger things . I am tempted to add, watching closely for more weakness this am.

Think there's a shorter out there who started at around 600p. Don't see a lot happening now until the results announcement on the 5th.

I see they were not keen on it in May , when it was more than a pound cheaper.Which just goes to show the value of tips....

shano2 - There's also a news release about an agreement with Cisco which IMO is more significant, both these agreements bode well for the future.

wad collector............the polls are close and although our views might represent the more rational end of the market it could still happen.

Off topic, I see that one of the big stakeholders here has notified a CFD transaction. Looks like a shorter to me.

Disappointing fall today.

Alphavalue downgrades Inmarsat from buy to add, target price cut from 703.5p to 701.4p.

XD next week 16.94 cents (10.5p?)

The other thing to note about ISAT is that it is a relatively good hedge if Mitt Romney gets elected and decides to take action against Iran. Trouble = more communications = ISAT!
