Inmarsat (LON: ISAT)'s stock had its "add" rating restated by analysts at AlphaValue in a research report issued to clients and investors on Thursday. They currently have a $11.09 (708 GBX) price target on the stock.

ISAT has been the subject of a number of other recent research reports. Analysts at Jefferies Group reiterated a "buy" rating on shares of Inmarsat in a research note to investors on Monday, January 21st. They now have a $10.38 price target on the stock. Separately, analysts at Barclays Capital reiterated an "overweight" rating on shares of Inmarsat in a research note to investors on Thursday, December 13th. They now have a $10.41 price target on the stock.

Inmarsat opened at 651.50 on Thursday. Inmarsat has a 52-week low of GBX 388.80 and a 52-week high of GBX 661.00. The stock's 50-day moving average is currently GBX 582.. The company's market cap is £2.979 billion.

wad collector - More interest to me is how varied the six brokers forecasts are, everything from sell to buy and all the meaningless stuff in between. It took me a long time realise it but fact is these guys are just muppets, bending and back tracking on their forecasts like the wind. If any one working in a senior management position who had to provide sales or production forecasts to the board and who chopped and changed like this they would be out the door quicker than you can say jump!!!!

Despite the temptation to sell, sitting on hands has proved best upto now;
It's in my SIPP, if it had been in my trading a/c i would sold it long ago.

Funny to think this was £4 a year ago, the same sort of price as in 2008. Turnover and dividend yield have gone up 40% in the last 4 yrs , pretax by 80%.
I was toying with taking some profits , but would not be surprising if this was back at £8 again before too long .As the header says , decent yield (particularily for a technology share) and a bid approach from someone like GE would not be out of the question at some point.I shall sit on my hands.

Well i will reaffirm my stance of a drop back to 550pish from here. Stuck in a trading range imho.
