Still held up by major broker ii wrongly not allowing purchases of shares. They do allow selling that causes a negative imbalance. Barclay's may also not allow buying.

I bought shares in IIP a while ago, went double or quits at Christmas as pure speculation, and the recent bounce is welcome respite.

However, in response to some of the recent excitement on here, which has inspired me to register for the site as a long time lurker, I’d point out that:

The recent director purchases have been small change in the greater scheme of things - they’re not substantial purchases.

The sale of previous assets from the portfolio has been at a steep markdown to their NAV valuation.

As NAV dwindled the company switched management fee arrangements from a percentage to a (high) fixed fee a couple of years back - not commensurate with performance (or good value).

The current loan terms at 15% seem to me to increase the current risk of the NAV disappearing into fees and payments (which represent a transfer of NAV to the directors and major shareholder, so they’re quite happy). That is a one way move if the portfolio companies aren’t growing or covering costs.

All comes down to a punt on whether you think the cash injection will be the shot in the arm needed to get the logistics company really performing - will it make that much difference, enough to cover all the costs - I don’t know enough about it’s potential or scalability to say.

I’m not going to read too much into fluctuations in price on tiny volume. If there’s much more of a bump I’ll be taking my stake back and I’ll be relieved to have got away with the chance to do so if that happens, tbh.

Director buys at nearly 4p. Some big 250k buys at much higher price. Price lowered on tiny sells. All signals a big push coming

It is a difficult one with high interest rates on loans. Although the subsidiary lending the money is owned by the 75.4% shareholders GGIC, and 3 directors of IIP are also directors of GGIC and two are shareholders in IIP.

The last NAV was 21p and shares of IIP are only 3.1p a share. So this well takes care of many doubts going forward. The Indian Rupee has strengthened after a long downturn and that is a plus factor.

Let the weak go. Watch them try to get back in later. So much potential here. Funding sorted

let's not forget it's currently 0.925 to 3.0p to sell now.

Most likely by end of the week back to 2p to sell.

Can you comment

what's the percentage of interest payment of debt to NAV?

in 5 years time interest paid will be more than NAV.

It's an elaborate scam. Lend the company money and get paid by 18% from shareholders money. If any idiot do not see the transfer of wealth via this scheme, then you should never invest.

Indian scams, kickbacks are the norms.

seriously bashers?

Telling the truth, being correct and consistent.

Can you comment about the share price from 3 years to 0.925p?

Dead cat bounce can be in order of a few hundred percent from a low base. Considering it peaked 21p then crashed to 0.75p to sell a 3p technical bounce was always anticipated.

As of matter of facts, assumption that bashers missed the rise is inaccurate. There's no evidence you can know what's my activity on this share.

The nav of 24p based on fx movement is laughable, their performance is worst than the average punter on advfn.

Indian fundies? please.

Still up from 0.925p to 3.4p at present after 4p. Not bad and bashers who missed it all arrive. Time to evacuate as time with no news can be devastating for the share price.

why do you think companies pay high div?

It's because there's no way to attract investor, high yield tends to be companies which no one wants, hence to entice people the yield is high.

How did iip fortune has turned?

are they not paying 15-18% interest? companies paying that kind of interests, means they are untrust worthy and potentially going bankrupt in the near future

Be serious

People like Jimbo he was posting here before the rise and he said he sold. what do you think others who in lows are doing?

waiting for the chasers to dump and crash the price?

be serious NAV went down from 35p to 21p due a 12% FX movement.

Meaning most of the losses are due to other factors. Maybe mismagement, high costs, churning.

If the market was pricing at 1p even with a supposed nav 21p.

why should the market priced it at 25% discount to a supposed an increased nav of 24p.

Stop sucking people in, with your share promotion. No one is interested in what you made on HK company, what you cost people with your shares promotion is the topic.

You promote then dumped on the people and even tell them, so you can buy again.

With the rise in the Indian Rupee we should see the first rise in asset value for some considerable time. The strong US$ has not been helpful. Difficult to work it all out though the continued investment over the last 12 months should see DLI's asset value rise. We should see a rise, all things being equal, from NAV 21p to around NAV 22p - 23p. At 23p the shares at 3.5p are at a very substantial discount around 80%.

May be a chance to add at as low as 2p with a bit of luck. A lot of new punters will get impatient.
