all47fish...without stating the obvious, with both gas and oil prices going through the roof and Europe being blackmailed by the Russians, it seems, to me anyway, that Ireland have got to come up with a Plan B...being the import of cheaper energy. Namely LNG from suppliers around the globe....but the problem with LNG...it needs to be stored....and INFA have the storage capacity that's yet to be utilised,...but the powers that be...have still got their eyes closed. They'll finally wake up when it's too late. Islandmagee customers may not be so eager to protest if/when their gas bills go up 100%+.

Bron....I believe that INFA/HARL will retain a stake.

'EirGrid described the task of maintaining the balance between supply and demand as “increasingly challenging”,

'During a similar period of low wind speeds in 2018, gas actually accounted for more than 90 per cent of electricity.'

There you go Terminator.

Cenkos the Naomi/broker had dominated the offer while the supply is in play, 400k and 1.5m got through which I take is the report of the supplied stock and Cenkos have moved onto the bid.

So it very much looks like the supply is done.

Hype option of the gas storage for the twitter types.

There you go Terminator.

400k after hours, exactly the same pattern intraday and after hours as in the days of the threshold cross points for Octopus TR1s.

That suggests most, if not all of the Octopus holding has now gone. In theory a normal market will resume with the 5m supply stock gone.

Tremintor

You are missing a point with the seller deliberately or a point you have missed.

On the point of they don't have to notify under 3%, no need, it will be obvious.

Obvious because of the volumes and trades reported on the previous 2 threshold crossed dates.

The relevant trades stick out like a sore thumb due to material volume in an otherwise.
quiet place.

It would appear Octopus took a few days off, volume up today and a similar sell pattern as the threshold crossed days.

The amount left was under 2m, some may have been sold the day after threshold day going by volumes.

In short it appears today is possibly the day the Octopus supply will expire leaving the Market makers with no source for stock, having been handed over 5 million in just 2 weeks.

We have plentiful supplies of gas and coal, underground, but the greens make us import energy. But for the greens, we would have had more nuclear generation too.

Poster on the lunatic asylum saying that he notes that octopus havent sold their entire holding. Trouble is you don't know. All teh RNS reports is what they had when they declared their position of below 3%. They are now free to dispose of the rest without saying a word.

We must keep coal and open up new gas fields. We must not rely, as now, on France, Germany and Russia for our energy.
